The Department of School Education shall implement the project through its constituent agencies; Directorate of School Education, SCERT, NBSE and SIS.

Absolutely ✅ first CM, MPs, MLAs, Govt officer's, they must let their children to study in govt school then only there will be some changes & implement strict rules for teacher otherwise no matter what scheme or project it won't works.

Yes, I would suggest the same...that is if all government teachers admits their own children in the school where they teach, surely they Will try to give their best time. At the same time, they would also force the other teachers to do the same... Especially head teacher's own sons & daughters... I salute the team 'Dreams Unlimited' for their sincere efforts to highlight the pains of Government School Students.
it's been six months that we aren't getting salary... this "not-getting-salary " picture has been continuing from the past 8 years. .for the teachers like me have no Christmas new year or easter celebration rather we strive for not the celebration but a plate of rice at our home..till today no media , CSO , unions etc hasn't been voicing out on this issue rather than just giving black Marks on the govt teachers and students performances. although we aren't getting salary we try our level best in structuring and giving our best in uplifting the students career which actually has been given a blind eyesight on it . students are the future in shaping our society but the teachers and their families are also needed to be fed for their survival. some homes are indebted already with private loans and bank loans which is painful beyond measure...
I totally agree with government teachers and other employees. The Government keep talking about providing better education system but how can a soldier go to war empty stomach. The teachers are the soldiers fighting a loosing battle. They always keep crying for their right, the least is provide them with regular salary, I'm sure other problems will slowly get sorted like attendance and others.
Not only govt.schools , many of the govt. Sectors are like that only.

Am from govt teacher community, agreed with govt employees and govt teachers children must be in the govt schools. Then whole things will change in time.
I don't think our state govt. will utilize this projects or infrastructure for the good of our children's future. It will only go to their pockets development. 💯
The problem is not only with the teachers and the schools & its infrastructure/facilities provided but also with the students and their family backgrounds. For instance, many, if not most, of the students studying in govt schools are usually house maids and servants and helpers. These people don't get much time to study also which in turn reflects in the results of govt schools/students. Likewise, it is time we stop blaming the teachers in their entirety. There are many good and sincere teachers serving and teaching in govt schools. Let's respect them and give credit when and where it is due. Nevertheless, it is a good thing that the government of the day is at least contemplating on doing something for the betterment/upliftment of the schools, teachers and the future of the students. Hopefully this NECTAR project would bear fruit.
That is only a flipside. The real issue is corruption.

The first problem of govt.school in our Nagaland is speaking in our own language that is our famous NAGAMESE I don't know about the other district of Nagaland m talking about Mon dist and it would be much better if all the regular teacher were remove and appoint youngsters because just imagine how can 60 to 70 age teacher can teach 4 to 5 age group this things can do only by youngsters then only govt.school will change...And thank you so much dreams unlimited team for such truth scene 👍

Trained teacher for PT and Gms teacher's. Strong resolution should be a fundamental rules in every villages . Not all designated teacher are to be blame! All are not in a same position.. As a teacher ,our Govt higher secondary school, class from 8 to 12 standards , assembly starts at 8:50 am, class resume at 9:00 am. rules are different with different areas. I'm encouraging that Govt school teacher to sent their children in Govt run school's. So that changes would be in visibility in a day. Not in a years and months. Thank you DM

Identifation of teachers attendance through facial scanning is quite good, it should be done two times a day, and in the case when the teachers fails to undergo thr process, salary should be deducted automatically by the system, provided that a teacher a apply for leave in due process and if granted than a code should be given to the teacher to retrieve their deducted salary. However I wonder whether this scheme will be implemented anytime soon in true letter and spirit. After all it is nagaland where change and reformation is next to impossible. 🙏
Taking the ground reality which I have personally seen and experienced into account, out of the 100 Govt. teachers employed, 80 percent of them won't give an ounce of shit even if their salary were to be deducted. Some of the Govt Teachers today are taking a 35% to even a 50% pay cut just to appoint somebody else. Deducting some few thousands from their salary would infact push them to be more laid back.
Just putting in my two bits- Not only the education system in Nagaland needs a revival but the Bureaucrats, Politicians and Churches all need a thorough cleansing from head to toe.(Their brain, heart and blood too :3)

My premise as stated above solely revolves around the inconsistency of the Teachers and their ability to be regular. Just because the students are "not civilised" that doesn't mean the Govt. Teachers can take a year long self proclaimed vacation ain't it?
If you're building your premise around the rather insolent behaviour of the Children/Stuents, which makes "YOU" believe that they are unbearable to guide, lemme tell you that you're absolutely wrong!
Me and my buddies during my highschool days were nothing short of "UNCIVILISED" but our teachers were patient and humble enough to set an example for us. We may not have realised it back then, but now when we look back, I can gurantee you that they made us into who we are today.
I have a soft corner for Teachers. They are the guiding lamp to any nation. The job demands you or rather compels you to be kind, humble, patient and to a certain degree highly knowledgeable.
You are supposed to curb the so called "Uncivilised" behaviours of the children through your teachings. Easier said than done, but if you believe what iam saying is wrong, you are definitely not fit to be a teacher.
Not all children have the privilege to be taught ethics from their household. Infact in Government Schools, the parents feel sending their children to school is an utter waste of time. So to sum it up, teachers are the second parent and first to some.

My cousin brother studying in the government school became a mechanic... He said he aspire to become a doctor, so i replied, doctor & officers are some kind of serious professions.. After five years, he left school because all his friends who wanted to become scientist, doctor, lawyer already left school because its a serious profession. As such, they left for mechanic👨🔧 training... Now all these doctors and scientists are doing fine job.
Some govt.employees stay at home and enjoy the lavish salary without even going to work. While private firm teachers work their ass out I'm commenting because I am also a private teacher I know how it is🙄
Everyone is equally qualified and have the ability to teach that's why we are here to mentor our children for a better future. It's high time that we all work together for the betterment of our society ❤️

Same problem in Arunachal Pradesh.... Especially the shortage of teachers in rural areas and excess in urban areas (towns)... I myself is a mathematics teacher posted in Rural area during summer we are cut off from any nearby town, i am the only mathematics teacher for class 1 to 10. Teachers who are relatives of political leaders and officers don't go to interior places....
And it's good for Nagaland they are going to have scheme like NECTAR but Arunachal Pradesh won't be getting anything like that because of China as International funding for Arunachal Pradesh is barred by China.

My mom she was also a teacher. Though she is retired now. In her school, (Assamese Medium LP school) half of the teacher could barely write or read Assamese script. Some of them doesn't even know how to write application in English also.. all thanx to back door appointment.

I had the idea of compulsory enrollment of govt employees children after Allahabad highcourt directive way back in 2015. Sounds too good at first. However, upon pondering deeply the drawbacks will kick harder than the merits. Firstly, the competition to get admission to such good govt schools will be extremely hard. The poor will only get quato seats, private schools will be costly and hence inclusive education to all won't be possible.. just few drawbacks among many if we give a serious thought.
