    This drama is showing about Ao mother tongue dialect. But let this be a lesson to all the tribes, not only in Nagaland but to every tribes from different places. Unless we learn it for ourselves, we cant never teach the next generation of what it is or what it means. Thank you Aoyimti Youth Ministry for the meaningful drama video. God bless you all.

Nowadays I see people from village especially youngsters going to town's and when they coke back after some years they start speaking in nagamese saying they forgot their mother tongue which is a very shameful thing ... I'm soooo glad that they came up with this idea of making this short movie❤️ thank you ❤️

    In my neighborhood a 3 year old kid was speaking only English..as his parents taught or brought him up like that.
    It's good that the kid speak fluent English but first he must be taught to learn thier own dialect at home.
    English can be learn later on at schools but that's not the case for learning our own dialect✌️

    I'm so much touched by this video being in a community where there' are varieties of dialects or languages spoken among one tribe. And 99% of today's youngsters doesn't know what is mother tongue or common language.
    I'm talking about my tribe (konyak), we are unity in diversity but when we look into our mother tongue, it is endangered 😭

  • @nanwangkonyak9087
    @nanwangkonyak9087 2 ปีที่แล้ว +28

    So much love ❤....🤗🤗😁being Konyak we face this challenge. We konyaks are so vast,we have 168 villages and counting,each village speaking different dialects except for some areas with some similarities in their dialects. This compels us to learn one common mother tongue which is very complex for this generation...😢

    people won't understand how difficult life is for those who can't speak their mother's tongue fluently. we can't even show our face to relatives and elders out of shame. and we don't want to speak to the elderlies in Nagamese as its disrespectful.. we sometimes hide ourselves , pretend to be asleep or get out of the house whenever guests arrive... in some people's cases, even if they want to learn , they have family problems/grudges/bad relationships etc which stops them.
    but one thing I want to say in my opinion only , is that Language Has divided us nagas . so many tribes but every tribe are too proud of themselves and look at others differently especially the older generations.
    Language Has Divided us all

    Many people teach their children with English or Nagamese rather than mother tongue thinking its impressive and high and respectable thing. In reality those parents shows their stupidity to others. Heads off to the group for coming up with this idea.

      What abt the perspective from the person that can't speak their own dialect.... the problems that they had to face for not being able to speak their own dialect and constant mock by people..... If it is all abt preserving ones culture than i dont think ones culture should only be judge by ones ability to speak their own dialect.. and it's not fair to judge 5% people ....... Rather educate the rest who can speak their own dialect as I believe there is so much change in ones culture but giving it a name of collabs and going along with the society is a greater problem..........if one has to preserve than why not implement the dress code the foremost thing in every tribe and leave behind all the Western wear But nobody will agree by account of giving a reason of developing and growing along with modernisation But all what we focused is the few sections of people TO TARGET. it is what NAGAS are known BETTER for in EACH and every FIELD............... BUT NOT OFFENDED FROM THIS VIDEO IT IS INFORMATIVE........ BUT PORTRAYING ONLY ONE SIDE PERSPECTIVE IS UNFAIR and i do believe that our culture will be no more if we focus on the few rather than the others........ Nagas modernisation will overthrow the culture not by the few but by the other sections that speaks to preserve culture and going along with modernisation............. Sad but True facts..... 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
