Very honest review, and I love it. Typical Anton Andres way of doing reviews and I love the fact that you're now doing it under TGP's wing. Everything was well laid out in a video that's not too long nor too short. All the important bits and pieces were perfectly pointed out esp for the cons, basically one great vid to show the people what's behind such affordable pricetag for a top spec variant. Definitely looking forward to more and more reviews!

yup. my tita wants to get a Toyota Veloz V, but with a manual transmission. of course it doesn't have one and they don't want to step down to the Avanza E so they had to deal with it, i guess.
I have the new avanza 2022. just 1.3 cvt. will I am almost 25 years driving my own car so I can say that I have enough experience in car since I already used 5 cars before. I found out that the Avanza I owned is strong enough for its body and pasenger. my only problem is it has a low clearance from the ground. will as it is still new to me for just 1 month, I still discovering its anatomy. I have mirrage G4 cvt before I change it for Avanza. But the mirrage gives me good service for 5 years. and the most of all, It is so economical in fuel. my only problem for mirrage is the under chasis components.

Mukhang innova na land cruiser na fortuner yung harap niya tapos pagdating sa likod, iba na ang dating. Mas bagay sana kung kamukha ng rear end ng montero yung likod ng avanza.

As we explained in the video, performance is important in an MPV not for speed but for hauling. It wasn't made to go fast, but it's purpose is to carry people and cargo, hence why we said it needs more torque. As for safety, 5 stars in ASEAN NCAP for as long at it has Toyota Safety Sense. For that, you have to get the Veloz. Hope this helps.

Nice coverage as always! However, the 2022 Toyota Avanza looks more like a car from the late 1990s time travelled to 2022!
The 1.3E M/T variant is definitely more agile in terms of acceleration. The CVT is the culprit for the 1.5 and 1.3 variant.

They need as many differentiating features between this and the Veloz to justify the price premium.
