For those of us here in CA, the G19 and the G26 seen to be the best options. (Unless you want to pay the outrageous premiums...). There are good mag extensions for the G26 like the ones from Hyve Technology, and Pearce. It gives you a place for your pinky to rest without making the gun much bigger.
