Suffering in silence is the worst of the worst. To anyone who is suffering in silence in varsity , please speak out before it's too late. I know how painful it is to go to bed with a heavy heart and still wake up feeling like hell. Best of luck with everything that lies ahead, good people. God loves you. Thank you , Ta Mdizo for your insightful video. Iyabulela ilali.
I am a first year student at the university of Pretoria and I relate to everything you say and now i am on the verge of receiving an academic exclusion. Yeah, uni is challenging but it's always good to embracs the challenges as they help you discover your strengths and make you better than you were previously.
That suffering in silence is so true. I'm a first year at uct, and I'm seeing everyone around me who suffered in silence that need DP but are only speaking up now. It's so scary 😢 Imma promote this video on all the first year groups coz we need this. ❤ Thank u so much!!!
This is also my final year at UCT. I can agree will all that you have said. Just to add one point, students who dont attend their classes are less likely to pass the course. Thus please attend your classes and tutorials. Ensure you are around people who will empower you and support you. Don't forget to have fun and create good memories!
I used fail because of personal issues, got bad grades and caused me to struggle to find job, but as soon as I got my 1st job I took it with both hands and applied 100% to it. so far so good.
I'm seeing you for the first time on TH-cam. I've been in "health science" for years now and all I can say is, you're going to make a good medical practitioner. 👌🏻 Your tone in it has that thing of "listen to me, I've got powerful message to give you" non of your patients with dare to doubt you. All the best on your journey.
You are a real inspiration towards a lot of young people including myself but when you start to discuss ways in which learners in grade 10-12 could get distinctions you do not include the realistic challenge of having many home works per day etc.....
Ta Mdizo, kwakhona uchanile. This was a very much needed video for me and many other first years I believe, thank you❤.The part of doing a course you do not like really hit hard, akulungi.
Wow! What a good video. I failed first year and dropped out and I could never understand why I failed because I worked so hard and did so well in high school. I just assumed I wasn’t university material and have been so scared of going back. This video was eye opening
Never allow your Cup to run empty Ta Mdizo🙌😭🔥. I can't thank you enough. You climbed the ladder and left it for me to climb because there is enough space for all of us on the top.
I also feel as though the universities put too much pressure on the students, some fields is ridiculous with the duration of time you have to learn but that also depends on how good is your memory skills. I started dedicating myself to read my books I got at home, I got a pile of books. I said, I rather take my time, read the book and make sure I understand what the book is about and remember the very important information, than cramming and studying the book. Cramming is the worse method of studying. I started reading the book called Limitless by Jim Kwik, his a memory coach, he helped people like Will Smith the Rock etc. His the best Brain Coach out there....
I’ve been watching you for 2 years RN I’m 17 in grade 12 I just love you and I sometimes suffer from imposter syndrome like getting anxiety when I write not because I’m not a hard worker but the environment around and with GOD I’m starting to believe in myself when no one does🫢♥️
i asked for your grade 11 year in detail this other time on your tiktok live, unfortunately due to issues i couldn't continue watching💔. can we have a vid about that ?😭

Sounds like a good idea🫵
Dokotela!!!
real.
indeed!
what study methoods do you use ta mdizo ?
Mind maps, notes on word and past papers 👍
Ta Mdizo do you have any idea based on how i could join Pro Maths?
does failing one module means you have failed the course as a whole
Thank you from Zimbabwe
4:25 I had a lecturer like this I’m yet to see the results . It’s just luck that he was a lecturer for a mass module at least I won’t see him again.
6:55 some lecturers give surprise tests so if you’re sick you have no Coursework and you can’t write the exam
