To win games with Teemo you need to know every champ's abilities/cooldown, you need to be able to sidestep and dodge abilities, proper itemization/runes according to team comp, and macro/wave management.
He is one of those champs that looks very easy to play but actually is insanely hard if you wanna climb with him.

Tbh, Aphelios ain't even that complicated. I play League since late 2019 early 2020 and i understood aphelios. Honestly, in game is way easier to understand than in theory.

He looks more complicated than he is because there are actually no bad options. Everything works so well for every situation that it doesn't actually matter what you do. Everything synergizes perfectly with everything else.
Yeh, basically. The only problem with him would be to play 100% efficient and try to predict and arrange weapons for situations, but most of the time, what You have is enough and works. You dont need to play him 100% efficiently to be strong, You just have to know what You have at the moment and use those stuff and autoattack like a regular adc. Nothing difficult in that.
So the wep your using isnt as important. Cause I got lost AF switching between guns depending on situation and passive abilities etc... I got a headach lmao

I've come to the realization that for Aphelios to make sense, you think of him as if you're playing Halo, not LoL.

As simply as I can:
Aphelios has 5 weapons, each is different. Each has its own ability. All use ammunition, and only 2 can be active at a time.
Q uses a weapon's ability.
W swaps between two weapons.
You cannot swap between the remaining 3 weapons until one of your active ones runs out of ammo.
*Weapons:*
Sniper Rifle - long range poke
Scythe Pistol - burst dps and healing
Gravity Cannon - cc. on-hit slow.
Flamethrower - aoe. flares out to hit a wide range after hitting something. crits make it bigger.
Chakram - ranged melee. landing offhand's Q will spawn tiny chakrams that follow the big one. crits make it faster.
Sniper Q - Marks a target. Attacking a marked target deals bonus damage using the offhand weapon.
Scythe Q - Rapid-fire both active weapons. Extra movement speed.
Grav Cannon Q - Roots anything struck by its autoattack.
Flamethrower Q - Wave of fire that triggers offhand autoattack.
Chakram Q - Places a turret made of the offhand weapon and its autoattacks.
R - Strikes a wide area that explodes and deals damage using the two weapons you have available. It procs their passive effects.

what hurts more is supporting an aphelios lol. i have zero clue where to be. one second hes sniping, the next hes placing turrets then boom he dives head first in with aoe damage. Then they get mad and call you bad cause your not able to accurately guess what wild combination of weaponry they've decided to switch too
imagine failing to consider how their new champion with a mish-mashed kit is supposed to coordinate with others in a team game. 200 years of experience right there.
How come the spotlight doesn't mention that he doesn't level up abilities but STATS? I think that's pretty important...

Okay so:
4 weapons x 2 combinations each = 8 different combos of weapons.
4 weapons x 1 spell x 8 different combo'd effects + 1 passive per weapon = 28 effects
1 ultimate x 4 different main hand effects = 4 ultimate abilities.
Drum roll please....
That's 40 unique effects/abilities that this ridiculous champion has.
In a game where a majority of champs have 4 abilities and a useless passive.
He has 5 weapons not 4.

Well it's actually simpler than I thought. His main kit is Q and R and he has 5 passives depending on his main and off-hand weapons. Some weapons through their abilities, if on the main hand, also proc the effects of the off-hand weapon. That's basically it. The hard part is that you're not using your abilities by pressing a button but rather by auto attacking, and that they vary depending on what you have currently equipped.

Try Dota 2 Invoker with 10 different abilities and to get one ability you need to combine q w and e three times then press r and after few secs u can swap to the next spell

You only understand him through trial and error, and then after maybe obtaining mastery 4, you can watch guides and they start to make sense otherwise you just mess up. Plus, having to fight the urge to go Q W Q in any situation is difficult xd
What... So it's somewhat a multirole. Could be a fighter with serious life steal potential, could be a marksman with insane dps on perfect positioning, a mage with poking and aoe harrassment.
Riot didn't want to add more heroes so they just combined 4 in one.
Guys, what's even harder to understand is that Aphelios isn't hard to play, like Yasuo, just hard to understand and get the hang of at first.

@D Griffin so, so true. You won't enjoy any of them in the long run. I prefer this era of league, complex champions like apheilos are super rewarding and i usually praise the players who uses complex champions. They are the reason why i am so engaged to the game.
