    Great video. The mini big gulp is what I use as well. Big enough draw in a lot of fumes, but just small enough to fit under the arm of the tower for most of my lenses.

    Great video! Thank you! I am curious why you decided to go with a six X beam expander rather than going up to a 20 X beam expander. What I am hearing from everyone is that for the best quality do you want a 20 X beam expander. What are your thoughts?

    • @LSEngraving
      @LSEngraving  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      6x 2mm= 12mm beam entering the galvo head. i am going to try an 8x and 10x at some point with the 20mm head. with a 20x you would need a 40mm head which would be huge (don't know if the make them??) . 30watt, 175mm lens and 6x expander is what i decided since tumblers and cylinder correction would be the primary use.

    Like the video. Learned a lot. You mention a cleaner that you used. What's the name of it? I have been looking for something that works well.

    I have a JPT 50 wall fiber and a 300mm lens would that be a good combo for doing these also ?

    • @LSEngraving
      @LSEngraving  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      absolutely! 300mm lens on a fiber is my preferred for tumblers and a 0.1 line space

    • @lizardfreakboy

      I have tried a few and I really messed them up good. I guess I just didn't have the measurement right. I think your video will help me get it right next time.

    hi what's beam expander 6x? I don't understand :(

    • @LSEngraving
      @LSEngraving  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      for a co2 galvo laser you have to make the beam bigger for the f theta lens to shrink it back down to proper size.

  • @Tankwiper
    @Tankwiper 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Damn. 70 mm wide. With gantry CO2, there's only enough focal depth to engrave 40 mm wide image.

    • @LSEngraving
      @LSEngraving  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      are you using a 4in lens on the gantry? i have settings to go 88mm wide on a 100mm bottle now!
