@deandelray Absolutely...he's the real deal and so humble and clealry he does what he does for the sheer love of making great music that pushes the boundaries. He would be the first person I'd turn to if any of my musical projects got to a significant level. Keep up the great work Dean 🤘🏻
Epic interview. This should have about 300,000 more listens IMO! I love that Dean lets him talk/expand. Many times interviewers will start moving on too fast or interrupting, and they miss all of the best potential content/stories! Dave J gave members of AIC the Ritual de lo Habitual album before it was released, and that's what they were all listening to while recording Facelift. Ritual was a heavy sonic influence on the Facelift album.
Dave Navarro has been going on a lot of podcasts obscure and popular (before he was afflicted with covid recently). I think you could probably get him on for a good Janes episode. He also has a following from pepper fanatics and the tattoo show he does. When I saw him taking questions on a livestream, there were many more pepper questions and fans than Janes. Of course, janes and music fans would love a podcast with dave hosted by someone that understands music like you do.
@@deandelray you have excellent, impeccable taste in music. With one exception: overlooking Johnny thunders. Hell, Guns N’ Roses is basically 37% Johnny thunders music.
Best interview of Jarden. I could listen to a part 2.
Dave is hands down my favorite producer
He’s absolutely incredible

Really outstanding one here
thank you so much
I’ve been waiting decades to hear the tale of rituals recording. Jerden just knew how to bring out a bands best.
he’s so underrated
Outstanding interview. Thank you for this. I’ve been a rock fanatic since I was 10 years old. Heard hundreds of interviews. This was fantastic.

must of been intimidating, ritual utterly obliterates facelift in terms of quality
Legends! Thank you, Mr. Dean. :)

So many jewels
What’s the name of the band he said he just did that he loved. A three piece… from Venice?
They are terrible, I actually looked them up before
The song was “Chemical Addiction”
