When you mentioned nobody acknowledging Hajun, this was proven again later after round 7. When we see Hermes creating a melody for each fallen warrior in Ragnarok, Zerofuku is given a song, but there exists no mention of Hajun.
God that is such a great catch, really sums up it up, and well Hades says he is no god, meaning he is almost like a parasite in ragnarok itself given he is neither a human or god in this fight between the humans and the gods, and well in a literal sense he was parasite that took over Zeros body so it works on a lotta levels (kinda annoyed I didn't mention this is in the video but oh well)
Zerofuku is one of my absolute favorite characters in media, let alone this the series, and I cannot overstate how much I appreciate you for highlighting what a fantastically well-written character he is, thank you so much for such a brilliantly written video
Probably the reason people didn't like him is because maybe it struck a bit too close to home for some people, in addition to not being as flashy in terms of powers as other gods. Since most people look to find happiness in the approval of others. I love the guy the first time I saw him.
His turn to happiness came a little sudden to me. But his backstory, his weapon, his origin as 7 gods, his happiness at the end, even the tragedy of him. Its all so good. Very good character.
Yeah thats a fair take, I guess I personally rationalise it as him being an adolescent as Buddha says, it took one moment of malice (At least in his eyes) to knock him off the edge and turn to divine punishment like a child having a tantrum, so it only took one push in the other direction to bring him back to happiness but again its very fair to see it as a little rushed
Yeah at least in my interaction with the wider fandom he tends to be up there with Okita in terms of being disliked though I think people are slowly starting to appreciate him more
I LOVE Zerofuku, he's my absolute favourite character in RoR, so I'm really glad you did this! Zerofuku's whole arc really shows a message I like - things going right for someone all the time doesn't mean they're going to be happy and things going wrong isn't always a bad thing. Taking away all negative experience removes one's ability to appreciate the good things and always getting things on a silver platter without effort is really, well, miserable! It's something Zerofuku's growth highlights very well.
I like how Zero had to learn the same lesson as Buddha, but in his case, Budha ha to learn it as one of the people who had all inconvenience a d bad luck" removedfom his life, and realizing that despite everything he had, he wasn't actually happy.
The biggest missed opportunity in the series is This fight was 1v1 instead of 7v1. This would flesh out all 7 lucky gods Later they would turn into Zerofuku & Hijun.
Its really moronic of people not likeing zerofuku because of what u said in the video that should show likeliness of him; yet people are too dumb to see it. To be honest, he was one of my favourite characters in ragnarok. The guy was placed with bad luck but in the end he found happiness and the demon inside him did not. You said it yourself, even if he isn't liked or loved he can love himself but so do I. One of the best videos I've ever looked at, keep up the good work.
This not related to video, but how do you analyse anime’s? Im really curious, because your really analyis on characters are really good and it also gave me a new interpretation on certain characters.
I actually have a video on this on the channel, thinks its called 'how to analyse anime', but in short you just got to read a series over and over, a good way I have found is that you need to find a scene that catches your attention or moves you and then reread/rewatch it over and over till you bruteforce your way into finding out what about it makes you like it, another way is to comapre a character at the start and end of a story and then once you work out the major differences between the two you can figure out what to focus on when rereading the series, it honestly is a lot of practise, I mean I've been doing this for 4+ years and I really don't think my first few analysis videos were that good so like everything practise makes progress
@@SephTheSinMy bad for the late response. I enjoyed your old analyse videos. Why i asked, because wanted to see how other creators analysis and come to their own interpretation on some media. Im also really intrigued how people find symbolism that comes from taoism, buddhism, tarots card and more. There is more to it, but this the jist of it

Glad to see another Zero lover, and thanks so much for watching

very possible

Zero's design kinda reminds me of a Hollow from Bleach
The hole in the chest defo gives off hollow vibes
Gosh I have a new found respect for zero after rereading and watch the anime helped me out with a character I was trying to create
I was surprised to hear Zerofuko was widely disliked
Yeah at least in my interaction with the wider fandom he tends to be up there with Okita in terms of being disliked though I think people are slowly starting to appreciate him more
Ooh, a Zerofuku analysis! I know what im watching!
Hope you enjoy

Great video. Really looking forward to the Buddha Analysis!
Lookign forward to getting started on it

Exaclty, will be going into this a lot in the Buddha vid, they parallel each other so well

I honestly felt bad for Zerofuku.
He’s a good boy. I love him. And he deserves headpats 🥲
0:12 I already like him so let’s see if you can make me like him more
Edit: yeah you just said what my subconscious thought
i am with you appreciating zerofuku, I find people who reduce records of ragnarok to a mere power scale wankfest as foolish and shortsighted.
Zerofuuku>Hajun.
I actually really liked this fight. I had more issue with "angry" buddha than I did with zero
Will be talking about angry Buddha in my next RoR vid since we will be discussing Buddha
@@SephTheSin you the man Seph
tbh i kinda expected zero to be a girl
Yeah wouldn't have surpised me
Nah

Thanks so much and yeah Zero needs more fans, hopefully I've been able to convince some people of that with this video
@@SephTheSin That's good, bro
Question, will do any new 7DS - Virtue videos!
When can I expect a detailed and long analysis on utsuro?
Bro what budah and zero are both my favorites
