We would definitely return to this hotel - the location, the rooms, the view and having a wonderful dinner at Roy’s made our stay special.
Located on the San Diego Bay with views of the marina, the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina is the perfect location for dynamic business meetings or resort-style relaxation. Just 3.3 miles from the San Diego International Airport this waterfront hotel offers luxurious accommodations next to a private 446-slip marina. From the hotel it is an easy commute to Seaport Village, San Diego Convention Center, the Gaslamp Quarter, Petco Park and Balboa Park.
This Southern California oasis waterfront property features 1,362 contemporary guestrooms and suites, many with private balconies, and all the rooms have city or San Diego Bay views. The entrance welcomes guests into a well-appointed, modern and spacious lobby that blends contemporary design with seaside marina bay influences.
Our room on the 24th floor was great, loved the balcony and views!
Outdoor activities include kayaks, paddleboards, jet skis, boat rentals and bicycle rentals.
Dining at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina includes the award-winning Marina Kitchen Restaurant & Bar with a lounge, dining room and Tasting Bar serving over fifty wines by the glass.
There is also the Tequila Bar & Grille set in a tropical oasis and featuring one of the largest tequila menus in the world.
Also on the property is a fitness center with Peloton Bikes and Life Fitness Synrgy360 to daily instructor led fitness classes.
Convention and event planners will love the recently redesigned indoor and outdoor venues at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina. There is an impressive 271,000 square feet of hotel function space.
The marina is stunning. The 450-slip marina accommodates vessels from 25 to 125 feet and offers additional San Diego boat rental options, yacht brokerage and fully catered, seasonal marina guest parties with live entertainment.
