He actually worked for Ultimate before this, but couldn't remember which tunes he did ;)
This is an awesome remix. A shame the actual in-game music is lacking the percussion!
This easily had to be an earlier title, so no drums were done.
@@BlindLibrary There was 8-bit percussion in the original NES game. But this version is lacking it.

I've been playing this game as long as I can remember. When I was first learning to read, I didn't know that Mt. was short for Mount, so I thought the third mountain was called "Mr. Nasty". I still call it that because it's funnier that way

Slalom: Getting to The Goods
You startout in a series of tracks overwashed by government censorship, lobbyistic greed and fake advertising.
The better the scores you get on these tracks, though, sets you up to unlock increasingly more peaceful hypothetic dream-like situations.
The music also gets more beautifully complicated as you go, further pushing you along to unlock even more awesomeness further on;
Till we have to: Ultimately race Adolf Gustus Nasty in one Hell of a Steep Peak challenge.
Beat him; you beat the game!
Then unlock an ultimately better future with no Nasty at the end.

Nice to see Rare representing and respecting their history when they made games they wanted to make. Not like those Kinect games......
+DIM GamerT29 If you read interviews it was Rare that wanted to make Kinect games. Which didn't really work well, but it was Rare's own decision.
