These are super easy to install. I did mine yesterday morning. But beware of factory defects. My left one had too big of a spread and it wouldn’t fit in the slot. Had to put it in the vise and squeeze it down to get it to fit in there. Once installed they’re great. Very comfortable for the ride. They look really nice , too.
@@jlooker25 I've had them now a couple of weeks and I absolutely love them! I did experience an issue with the installation, not with the floor boards themselves but with the adapters that came with them. My factory spring that I had to transfer from my bike to the adapters at first would not fit. The amount of baked on paint applied to the adapters was too thick, I had to take my grinder and litterally take off all the paint from the inside of the adapters where the spring goes before the spring would go in and be allowed to move as it needs to. Other than that it went great and function perfectly.
Surprised Honda use something as old fashioned as a cotton pin, surely a better option would be a circlip! Also I would have used a drop of blue loctite on those bolts
Nice video. I just ordered a set and seems pretty straight forward. How do you like them? Did you have any issues with the brake pedal where you needed to adjust the floorboards? Did you have to adjust after installing? Thanks in advance for your response.
Do they sprach more than the stock ones? Is the position of your food not to high? Does it feel good even on long rides? Did you have to make adjustments for the Brake pedal? I like to use them on a DCT that doesn"t make any difference with installation? Thanks for your answers and greetings from Germany.......
@@FranklinBurns42 He is corrrect, the adapter is the small piece that connects the floor board to the bike. They do not always come with them so if and when you order them verify they do come with the adapter as that is an option. I just ordered mine from WingStuff and it was the option with or without the adapter.
For me yes as I had to angle the floor boards slightly toe down due to shifting needs as I have the manual trans. For DCT it shouldn't affect the lean any further than the stock as the floor boards can be mounted at level position.

I had the same issue with my left side three days ago.
Yup! Left side needs persuasion
A must watch before going it on your own! Took about 3 minutes a side after watching, great instruction!
I am glad it helped. Thank you for the positive feedback.
Very Nice Video, Thank you. I just ordered these tonight so can't wait to get them mounted.

Nice job on the install and explanations. Just ordered a set. Thank you sir!
Awesome, thank you!

Great video! Do the floorboards interfere with the shifter at all? Now that you've had them installed for a while, how do you like them?
Not at all. As long you angle the floor board down slightly and adjust the shifter to a higher position.
@@jlooker25 thanks again!

I had to adjust my brake pedal and the brake switch.

Can the brake pedal be adjusted?
Very nice! I just checked into ordering these and it has the choice of with or without driver adapter. What is the driver adapter?

Thanks

Is the angle of the floorboards ajustable?
Did you find the floorboards reduced lean angle angle at all?
