I have sent damaged tumblers to Tervis for replacements. You can get the form and address online, pay shipping there and they send a nice new replacement back. Sometimes they even include a $5 coupon. I have been happy with all the replacements. I'm Meyerway Whatnot.

I have what I affectionately call an old lady cart. Would be great to use in a thrift like this! Folds up for storage and transport.
I need to get one! I have a pull cart but it wouldn't fit in there
@@katstreasurehunting yes, that’s where the OLC comes in handy - upright and narrow. Occupies about the floor space size of a small person. :). You can even get liners/canvas bags that set in it and pull out all at once.
My grandmother-in-law called hers her two-wheeled Cadillac.

Our goodwill are ridiculous too. Search for church thrift stores or small non profit those are the ones that mostly have lower prices
Yes. They replace with the same design if they have it or they use the decal or wrap from the original tumbler if it is usable.

I hope you feel better soon! Some of the items on the shelves were a bit rough but for people who are struggling to make ends meet, something for 5 cents is brilliant. I wonder if the size may also have been on the sole of those golf shoes, but they were muddy so difficult to see.
Yes for sure. The Nike is normally just on that tag inside the tongue which is what they cut out lol

If it's not obvious that the linen is vintage, how do you know? Is the stitching different, and how? I can spot a vintage or retro print from a mile away, and vintage sheets, even without a print, I can tell by the feel, but like table cloths, cloth napkins, baby blankets, throws and handkerchiefs how do you tell? I don't want to just assume something is vintage just because I think so. I guess ya gotta just keep study'n! 🧙
I just go by looks from years of experience but unless it comes from the original owner there is no way to know 100%

My dad was donating today, so I tagged along. I spent $9 and got some really cool stuff. For right now, they are a cash only thrift store. Their plush are .25 & .50. I grabbed a bunch of brand new magazines ... marvel, life, nba ... .25/ea. I got a hobnail sugar/creamer set for 20 cents!!!
My favorite was a giant framed piece of art. Ornate frame. The original is an oil painted in the 1880s, and it's in a museum in Chicago. I read it was in the movie Ferris Buehler. I only paid .75 for it!!!
I always forget that the store is there. They were really low on stock. So I was shocked that I found the cool things I did.

I have a thrift store that's not too far from me that's really cheap too, many of the prices in it are 50 cents to $2.00 on average for many things .... books are 3 for a $1.00. I go there about every week or so when I had time..

@@katstreasurehunting I love going in there and getting incredible deals when most of the other stores including the bigger chain stores want way too much for many of their items. I've stopped going regularly to some of the places. You know when you go into a Salvation Army and they have a set of 3 used Disney VHS tapes in their display case for $30 and all the other stores are selling them for $2.00 each or ;less ... all can say is ouch!!

why would you not carry CASH, cash is king, wait till the banks go down and you have no access to your cash, I always pay cash, rarely do I use my debit card
Because I have a business that I need to show transactions purchasing and like to get points back on a business credit card.
I never have cash. Most people these days do not carry cash.
I literally had $3 in my wallet today!!! The thrift store I went to only accepts cash. Thank goodness my dad was with me and loaned me the other $6 I needed.
Cash at flea markets and yard sales makes sense, but as an online reseller how would people pay for things online? Banks may go under but knowing the US government they would bail them out just like they did to airlines, car manufacturers and on and on and on
