DTA turned out SO GOOD! I am even more pumped for mine to arrive after watching this. Thanks for this live play guys, and an amazing game! Played Season 2 with my mom for the first time last night and she won a 3 player game with Split The Heavens as a final move! She struggled to understand Space Base so I was worried she would have trouble picking up DT, but she picked it up fast and loved it.

Question: at one point it appeared Gavan died. He had 4 health. I thought great. Now I can see what happens when someone dies. But some how he kept playing with 4 health. So I must have missed something. Anyway. This took almost 2 hours. If someone dies 10 minutes in. What happens to them? Do they have to sit there and watch while everyone else continues to play for the next hour or so? That's going to suck to suck.
@DiceThrone I have a question regarding the loot in a Portal Crawl. On the sheet under the levels 1 to 3 it says unidentified and on level 4 loot it says nothing. Does this mean, that the level 4 lootcards are already identified ? Or is just all Portal Crawl loot unidentified. Thanks in advance.
Is the only place to preorder this US sites and the Kickstarter? I can't seem to find any Canadian retailers putting it up for preorder. Found the season 1 rerolled but not adventures. I'd love to preorder but feel like the Kickstarter is a little overpriced, in USD and I'd have to pay duty etc. Any help would be appreciated.
Looks like they're using a modded version of Table Top Simulator, you can get TTS and I think they have a couple characters you can use for normal dice throne but not the dice throne adventures
This is was awesome. My only criticism happens near the end of the portal phase. When calculating the damage that the Goblin Mob does to a player, the text says 1/2 of "your" health rounded up. I would think it means half the damage of the hero being engaged upon as opposed to half the health that the Goblins have? Then again Manny, Nate and Gavan all seemed to be good with the half of the Goblins health rounded up, so as long as they agree who am I to say, but some greater clarity on this could be beneficial.
I understand the confusion; when I played we thought about that too, but in the rulebook it states that you read the effects from the minion's POV. Imagine yourself as playing the minion/boss when reading what they do
It'll get smoother as the players get more comfortable doing their turns. I found it works well when 1 player acts as a sort of 'DM' and acts as a banker and moves the game along

I ordered dice throne adventures in April...unfortunately I have to wait until November-December to get it since it’s on back order😩

Correct, your loot from the level 4 chest is already identified you add it straight to your deck
@@jahnfahler I don’t think so. They’d specifically say thank the rules or the loot table. All of them ID’d their level 4 loot as well on this video.

So slow. Waiting for my turn just impossibly long time.
