Amorphage Yugioh Deck Profile May 2023

Have you ever thought to yourself, man I'd love to play a pendulum deck where are the pend scales are floodgates? No? Well I certainly did and it exists even if it's not the most consistent deck.

Love that you're giving attention to some of the most hated decks. I'm working on building this right now, have you considered lair of darkness for a field spell?

Thanks for the kind words. Gotta show stun some love since it gets so much hate.
I have not looked into it yet but I have heard about the idea of lair of darkness in Amorphage. I kind of like the flexibility of pendulum switch as a way to guarantee summon sloth or amorphage and avoid paying the maintenance cost. Now if lair worked with the paying the maintenance cost it'd be a no brainer, but I'll have to do some testing to see if I like it more,

@snowflarkyzeimos1131 I'll have some judges what their ruling on it is, I'm 50/50 on if it can pay maintenance cost. And since both effects are lingering, having lecherous on field won't stop you from using them. Using pend switch is such a smart idea tho, I never would've though about it.
(Edit) Tested lair of darkness on master duel and it doesn't seem to work.

Void Expansion field spell is perfect for paying the maintenance cost as it SS a token every stand-by phase, free tribute every turn without having to get rid of any Amorphage monsters

I don't find myself ever in a spot where I want it's pendulum effect over the ones that other amorphages provide and it doesn't have the less conditional extra deck lock that sloth and Goliath do.
