In January 2022, I was lucky enough to spend two nights at Tintswalo Safari Lodge in South Africa's Manyeleti Game Reserve.
Tintswalo Safari Lodge is by far the grandest camp in Manyeleti and consists of eight opulent suited, all named after 19th century African explorers and uniquely decorated to reflect the luxuries of colonial Africa. I love the fact that the rooms, which are connected by long wooden walkways, are spaced far apart from each other for maximum privacy.
Tintswalo Safari Lodge has a large, comfortable lounge, a well-stocked cellar, a gift shop and a spa, as well an open-air (but covered) gym overlooking a stunning drainage line.
The centre of attention in camp is a massive old jackal berry tree next to the main deck, where breakfast and lunch are typically served. A hosepipe connected to the tree can be turned on to create a small waterfall that fills a pond at the base of the tree, attracting a great variety of mammals, including elephants.
On my first game drive at Tintswalo Safari Lodge, we saw a lioness with two tiny little cubs. They formed part of the Mbiri Pride. We were lucky enough to see them again the following day and got some great photos and video clips of the two tiny little cubs.
The northern section of Manyeleti Game Reserve, where Tintswalo Safari Lodge is located, consists of stunning open plains as well as riverine thickets that form the ideal habitat for leopards. On our last game drive, we found a well-known mother leopard, Saseka, and her cub resting in a marula tree.

Fantastic sightings Villiers, such cute and adorable lion cubs and the leopards were so beautiful. Such a lovely area. The last camera capture of the leopard in the tree at the end was simply stunning..... The food at the Lodge looks delicious too lol. . As always great vid and thank you so much.
