just discovered it was called peel island :)......i was last in Coniston approx 1978/79.......the steam boat had just been raised from beneath the water (i think) and was to be restored.....nice to see it in your clip........i stayed just north of peel island in what i assumed was an old barn in the woods..............best holiday ive ever had for 2 weeks as a teenager...hillwalking,climbing,canoeing and my school even had a yacht ....got lost a few times trying to learn map reading LOL.
