I am currently 60% of the way through The Ravens by Kass Morgan and Danielle Paige. I am loving it! I read Romance, Thrillers, and Fantasy. I switch it up every so often to avoid reading slumps. However, I find that I am more selective with Fantasy. I originally was thinking of passing on The Ravens but your video convinced me to give it a try and now I am finding it difficult to stop reading and go to sleep. 😂 Thank goodness tomorrow is Sunday. Thank you for taking the time to make/upload videos and for sharing your thoughts. I enjoy your content and seeing your fur kids. I lost my furry son, Chester this past October and I miss him immensely. Hugs and well wishes, always.

I was gonna read A Tale of Magic too and I started it but I didn't like it at all so I DNF that one for now. Then I rested for a couple of days and now I'm reading Nevernight. 👑 I read The Ravens in December! I gave it three stars. I really enjoyed the first half and getting to know the two main characters and what they were all about and seeing the mystery, but the more it went along, the more illogical it all felt to me. I still mostly enjoyed it! And yeah I’m the same way when a book has a great ending. Like I’ll be convinced that a book is a 2-3 stars and then it hits me with a cool ending and I’m like “Wow, that was five stars for sure.” 😂 I did the 24 hour readathon too. I was able to read three books start to finish (all MG) on that day 😁
I agree with your statements on Majesty. I’m not sure if that ending is just how Katharine McGee writes though? I listened to The Thousandth Floor and loved it, but then I got to The Dazzling Heights and DNF’d it because I felt like it didn’t live up to the first book and sort of dragged on with nothing really happening. Can’t wait to hear what your thoughts on it are though!!

I started reading Greenglass House. One By One was my first book of 2021. Then I just stopped reading for a few days. Im back in it after watching this! I also just read a couple chapters in The Ravens and The Winter People. I have never been a super fast reader or even read much until the pandemic and now I'm just addicted to books. Lol. So, I set my self up for the 100 books of 2021 challenge. If I make it to 50, I'll be happy! We will see. Ww have similar tastes in books I think. You're one of my favorites! During the readathon I read City of the Plague God and Chlorine Sky! Right after I read Majesty and I agree that ending was 🤷🏾♀️I also listened to the audiobook for First Comes Like and 10/10 recommend, it’s like watching a Bollywood film.
