WOW Taylor - you’re a mechanic, a gardener, a carpenter, a heavy equipment operator, a buyer, an entrepreneur, a partner for Brent, and now, a bovine midwife. What an awesome young woman - well done.
27:35 Ahh my fingers!!!! 🤣🤣🤣. Brent is such a ham LOL. Always love seeing people work together properly and you two have it down cold... literally! Thanks for taking us along as always!
Hi Taylor. After growing up on a farm , farmer talk is like a second language that only a few will understand. Watching the birth of Brutus was awesome. Watched many of these on the farm. Thanks for sharing that. Please stay safe while working with Brent. The work you do puts you in many situations where you could get hurt. God bless you and Brent always. 🐄🚜🎄🍩☕️😋
Brutus was sure a nice looking bull calf. Merry Christmas Tay, stay safe and healthy. Congratulations on 34K subs. That muddy road must be fun to drive at night after it freezes. Thanks for another great video, always interesting when you talk about the farm. Glad Brent's fingers where ok, lol.
What a precious little boy! Taylor, you are so good with the animals. I can tell you truly care about them. I've watched many of your videos and the one thing I have learned is that farming is extremely laborious! The work never ends, something always needs fixing and there is never enough money. I love farmers and truly appreciate the work they do. They are the backbone of the food industry and are so underappreciated. You are all in my prayers daily. Merry Christmas to you and your families!!
I smile when ever you talk about your short commings. I employed a young woman about your age to take care of our water plant landscaping. Her last name was Taylor and was the best employee I ever hired. Hard worker and fun to see her take a task as a challenge to do her best. She was in the National Guard in transportation and told of driving a duce and a half where she needed both feet to push in on the clutch while a passenger changed the gears, but don't tell her she couldn't do something because of her size or being a female. Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
Thanks Taylor for another great video on a small dairy farm. The love of the animals and your endless work is amazing. Tell everyone I see to check out your channel and subscribe. Let’s get her to 50k, she deserves it! 💕
I found your ch last week Taylor, I'm retired from 40 years of farming and raising beef cattle in Wash State. I been spending mornings watching a lot of your videos,
I value farmers the same as police and firefighters. I cannot farm so without farmers I would starve. Thank you to all farmers! Have a wonderful holiday!
Hi Taylor and Brent and girls beautiful video as always Tay you’re hardest worker ever love when you’re explaining about farm as always you all be safe 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Hi Tay&Brent, Merry CHRISTmas. Thank you for your dedication to your girls. Its incredible, and a great example for all of us to follow. I would even go far enough to suggst havng a school/volunteer program for those who would consider a dairy..I knw that's far off, and risky bcuz you make it look so easy, we don't see that risk of injury. GOD bless, may he keep you safe and in HIS care...
Merry Christmas, Taylor and Brent! That is a big bull calf. I am glad he and mom are doing well. We used to do the same thing with new borns back when we were farming.
Beautiful little Bull Calf Brutus is. Amazing to hear you talking of snow and cold over there when it's in the high 80f to 90f or 25C to 30C here in Queensland Australia.
When I worked in the byre at 13/14 we fed calves from a bucket from the moment it was born, some colostrum in the bucket, fingers into calves mouth, starts sucking, head into bucket will suck through your fingers, fingers will get nibbled by teeth, after a couple of days calf will be drinking, bring back so many memories, talking about milk fever.
Taylor great video. Congratulations on the new baby calf. He is absolutely adorable and keep a great with all the work with the videos and I hope you and your boss have a very merry Christmas.
Hi Taylor awesome video again thanks. What a beautiful calf and your right he's a big lad. Looks like you are having the same funny weather we are in the UK. Thanks again for taking the time to make the videos for us much appreciated, hope you both have a fantastic Christmas take care and be safe 👍 😊.
Good morning Taylor and Brent Great video, wow a great looking bull ! Taylor you are amazing with your knowledge and care for the girls It will be great to see more girls in the barn Enjoy your day
I was in construction for 11 years we always called them pole barn sheet steel screws. Your videos remind me of the home farm when my family still had the farm and all the tasks and fixing. My family owned it for about 60 years. It was 200 acres 62 cow barn. We raised all calves did not sell when born. Sold the milking cows in 1993 the year i graduated high school. We just sold the farm in 2023. My 21 siblings could not agree to keep it in the family sad. Keep the videos coming😊.
Sad news, been there done that. I would have been the 4th generation on the farm and it would have surpassed the century mark on my watch. I did rent the barn and pasture for 5 years but could not get all of the relatives to sign off. I have not driven past that farm since it was sold out of the family 28 years ago - and I vow not to, ever. So many family dairy farms have been lost.
Brutus, the big beautiful bull calf. I cant imagine getting to witness and be part of that on the regular. Geeez thats amazing. Thank you and thats a BIG thank you on this one!!!
Its great when you talk "off subject." You bring up interesting stuff about dairy farming that would otherwise be missed. A bigger picture. Fun learning the many details about dairy farming.
Y’all’s working relationship is so cute. I just found your channel a few weeks ago and I love it. It’s so neat seeing a style of dairying I didn’t even really know about. My dad was a dairy farmer back in his college days but they had a parlor. I’m a shepherd so no cattle for me but I love your videos!
Hey Taylor.I'm amazed at how much knowledge it takes to be a dairy farmer.Another great video. If i miss your next video I want to wish you and Brent a merry Christmas love y'all
What a great way to spend my 64th. Birthday morning than watching another video youngin. Your care and love for ya'll's herd brings back so many great memories for me. Bottle feeding was always one of my favorite things when I was little. Prayers for you and your family always 🙏🙏🙏. And as always everyone in Northeast Arkansas says hey Taylor especially Miriam 😁🤭🙋♂️🙋♂️🙋♂️👍👍👍🙏🐄🚜
Hi Taylor. That was a beautiful boy calf. And you are right, he was big. New tarp, looks like the ones I get from Harbor Freight. Very clever cutting grooves in the wall to be able to put the door in the slots to keep it steady. We didn't have a manure pit. we just piled our manure outside the side door of the barn. In the spring we would pitchfork it into the spreader and go to the fields. Lots of hard manual labor involved. Times sure do change. Have a great day Merry Christmas to you and Brent and God Bless
Hey Taylor. You know what? A drone would be a great addition to your amazing video skills. Drone footage of the cows out in the pasture and doing the hay crops. Just a thought.
That's a big bandage ya got going on! Burn? Looks like a bandage I had to wear on my arm when I was to tipsy next to shop heater pipe!😅Hope all is well! Stay warm!
Congrats on the new arrival!! I don't think the weather can make up its mind what season it's in. Where I live, it's either cold and clear or warm and rainy! Stay safe and Merry Christmas!
Good morning Taylor and Brent. Overcast and dreary at the moment.😢Coffee and Oreos for breakfast. Enjoyed today's video. Merry Christmas to you and all your friends and family.
Hi Taylor, if you have two big c clamps, you could use them on the top of the manure pit door and then attach the chain on them. That way you have more control, when you insert the door. Greetings from Germany
Good afternoon sweetheart. We’ve had the same weather here rain and snow and rain now it’s gonna be better cold again for a week with possible snow this weekend. That was an adorable little bull calf. I see a big bandage on your arm. Are you OK? Nice to see the old trucks getting a new tarp they are a pain in the butt to put on though. Been there done that at least you’re getting some things done in this warm weather you’re having. Stay safe and warm.🤗
Good morning Taylor and Brent!! My wife noticed about 1/2 way through the video you had a bandage with gauze on your left arm, we’re hoping you didn’t get injured too badly and that it heals fast! Take care of yourself!!
In the early 90s I had a neighbor that had five milk cows. She sold milk, buttermilk, and butter from her house. I helped her milk and take care of the cows and baled her hay. We didn’t have milkers it was always done by hand.
Hi Taylor, I'm glad calving went smoothly and that Mum is happy. With the head start of mud season, you pretty much nailed it; however, watch out for Santa these days, he's on his way! And don't screw Brent to the truck; that would not look very nice.😅
Hi Taylor, I couldn’t believe that all the snow is gone, strange weather this year with the warm and cold swings, I saw a what looked like a big bandage on your arm I hope you’re ok, Happy Holidays!
Hey Taylor, really nice calf to bad not a heifer make great cross. Is best to tie them up like you say. Very nice cow too. Merry Xmas fro Ia. Cold here and rain after Xmas makes for muddy mess. Hope you get time to spend with family. Be safe.
Good morning Taylor what a great surprise a new born. Love watching you and Brent seems you two are a great team. What ever did you do to your arm? What size of boot do you and Brent wear. Stay safe hugs 🤗 and kisses🥰 keep up the great work looking got to the next video 😊
I come from the days when a wheel barrel was your best friend just like that bobcat that Brent drives i remember when we got one on the farm and I was a young buck long time ago lol 😅
27:37 😂 Had to laugh at that! Good video Taylor, very nice calf she had! How's the arm? I may have missed what happened but saw the bandage. Hope you guys have a good weekend coming up! Take care
Hey Taylor I saw that your arm was bandaged up I hope you’re ok. Brent has a pretty quick wit 😂 you two seem to work very well together. Merry Christmas Taylor to you and Brent both. You could just pile manure up instead of putting the pit door in.
Taylor always a fun informative video. That was so silly you guys sloshing in the water doing the tarp,
then emptying the water when done. LOL
Thanks
Brutus was sure a nice looking bull calf. Merry Christmas Tay, stay safe and healthy. Congratulations on 34K subs. That muddy road must be fun to drive at night after it freezes. Thanks for another great video, always interesting when you talk about the farm. Glad Brent's fingers where ok, lol.
