Okay, so here's my story... I am a single mom, serving my 3rd elected term as Clerk Treasurer for my little rural town in Indiana of about 800 people. I have lived here most of my life. My only child is 18 and graduating from high school next month. She will be leaving for college in August and I am facing the empty nest. That in itself has rocked my world. I have been left wondering, "who am I now and what am I going to do?" I was sincerely blindsided by the empty nest syndrome. It's not fun. On top of that...I know that I know that I know that I am not supposed to run for a 4th term. This term ends in December this year. I am 6 classes short of getting my degree in Christian ministry from Regent University but ran out of funds. I am absolutely terrified. I am sure that I am not supposed to put my name on the ballot, but God hasn't shown me anything beyond that. When I listened to your last video Kristi, I felt like Myles Munroe was speaking directly to me! I have heard many blanket prophesies over the years..."the year of favor, the year of restoration, and such. But nothing touched me like this one. All that to say...I sure hope I have heard God clearly cause I have started packing too!
My story...i suffer from an autoimmune disease that most people know and I told myself, with God's assistance, I would be healed by a certain time. That's my plan and when I wasn't healed I was disappointed. Until I realized that this is His plan. So, I's still ready for my healing, always will be but I'm letting go and letting God. :)
Msbrownshugakiss my grandma has the same she super young to so ik what your going through seeing the pain she go through i understand i hope things get better amen.
My experiences when dealing with "Hope" is I always remember and believe that God gave me what I asked for before I asked for it. Also, I remember my experiences in the past when God helped me when I really needed him. One if the most important rules is to be "Patient" and that can be so challenging. I also imagine the opposite of what I desire and I began to feel it. Try and stay busy and be a source for others and love others the way God loves us and REMEMBER YOUR EXPERIENCES.
Got married to someone when I no God said no. Tried to make God part of this plan(my plan) when he didn't approve of this mess I made, Learned the hard way. I divorced and moved on with my life, repented than forgave myself....
Well remember All the promises of God are yes and Amen 2 Corinthians 1:20, in him we move and have our being Acts 17:28, so all we need to do is find a word or promise to stand on or in other words attach our faith to and the answer is yes and Amen, God Bless
I finally got married in 2013 to a wonderful godly man. Now I want a baby. I want one now! Why? ...because I'm 46. It took forever to finally get married. I don't want to be Sarah having my first child. Regardless, I'm talking myself happy. 😅
I prayed all this summer that god send me back to my old school nope he sent me to a new one im really dissapointed friends back home telling me to keep hope alive but honestly i dont even want to live anymore im still praying though
Kristi, I didn't know who you were till a couple of days ago when I was watching a CBN TH-cam video and you shared your thoughts after a story about a womanwho had been fighting cancer for years. Great video! Had to laugh at this video cause we started packing up our house in a step of faith, even though God hasn't given us any clear indication that he will move us. For the last 6 years every summer it's been like "God HAS to move us to a bigger place this year!". Nope! Our situation is extremely tough. We have 7 kids total, 3 living in MD, 1 moved out and is living with friends families around town and the 3 youngest (oldest is 6) have Autism. We currently live in a 2 bedroom rental (738 spr ft.that the kids have destroyed. Oh, and we live in California so everything is SUPER BIG BUCKS!! A dinky little 1,000 sqr ft home in our area goes for anywhere from $700,000-$900,000. My job pays well but not enough to afford a decent place to move to and couple that with the autism it has made it impossible this whole time to go anywhere. Lastly, Satan attacked our family up, down, and sideways last year and we are just coming out of it. Therefore, we KNOW GOD KNOWS our situation and surely He will move us! Right?! In His time. We need a better place to live, a better job, all our kids under one room, the 3 healed from Autism, etc... but in His time.To combine this with another of your videos we trust in God to provide, which He has, but many times our expectations need to be put into check. That aligns with the attitude as well. Sure did a lot of complaining during that time. However, He has been patient with me (us) and I believe the blessings will come, just changing my thinking not to set dates and stop complaining :) I kept this short as I (we) have quite a testimony to share but overall wanted to let you know your videos are AWESOME! God loves a challenge :) It is far from my work but we took a step of faith and God has opened every door! Thanks you for your prayers over this! I told God I wanted to be married before 30. I got married one month after my birthday. I always count on Proverbs 3:5-6.
It is best to pray about a situation. I have been dissapointed many time when my plans did not work out. God had a better plan.
