What a heritage around all those mines in Wales. Very interesting, although a sad chapter in UKs industrial times (but not only in your country). There where so many poor, wheren't they. Hi Gabriela thanks ❤️. Yes, closure of the mines did sadly create a lot of poverty. We are hoping to visit Big Pit without the doggos so we can find out lots more about the history of it all. Important that we don’t forget. It is however, lovely to see how nature is reclaiming the pits little by little and bathing it in beauty. Have a lovely weekend ❤️😊👍

Shame about the weather but looked nice. We love steam trains and the mining museum looked interesting. Hunters chicken looked good Graham, it’s a nightmare when there’s a chip shortage thought isn’t it! Nice area, you did manage to get some sun in the end! Its well worth doing the full experience at big pit , the underground tours are a real eyeopener along with stories the guide tells you along the way, also the Iron work cottages are another good area to visit close by

Lovely walks around there shame about the rain but if we wait for the weather we wouldn’t go anywhere been a shocker this year for rain, at least you managed to get your little ones out mine just puts the brakes on 😂. Pub food looked great but definitely needed more chips 🍟. Seems strange watching you in the spring when we are going into winter, I’m just waiting for the spring again hopefully better than the last. Wherever you are enjoy.
