    Great review! Thanks. Added to my understanding of riv-nuts, as well as increasing confidence in the brand.

    I was looking for a good crimp tool to do my Mallory ceramic end plug wires I bought for my 55 Chevy Belair. Looking through the 1000 different crimpers reading ALL the reviews on Amazon. I found your video review of the iwiss crimper, it was a great description of how good they crimped. I immediately bought them. Thanks for doing such a great review and I watch all your vids on your account. You are a great source of information and detail of what you do. I love the dullie Chevy. I have a 63 C30 that will be my next project. Keep up the great videos and Thanks again

      I appreciate you taking the time to comment here on YT letting me know that the video helped, it gives me energy to continue. I love to get feedback from followers saying that my video/videos helped them in some way, it's awesome! Side note, a 55 Belair is a car I would love to own some day (55/56😎👍) Thanks again James for watching/ buying/commenting and supporting the Build! 💪

      So mine broke, and I'm having a hard time taking the cover off, did you simply use brute force or some trick?

      I can't remember. I do vaguely remember it being a pain to take apart. I had the feeling of this is probably gonna break when I took it apart... Sorry I couldn't be any more help...

    Great video. What's the maximum thickness of the base metal you can rivet into typically? I'm looking to buy this tool but want to be sure it will work with 1/8" thickness and potentially 3/16" thick mild steel. Thanks in advance! Nick

      I would say you will have no issues with 1/8" or 3/16" just make sure there is enough of a shoulder on the insert, there are tons of different options when it comes to the type of inserts you can install.

      I went out and measured a 5/16 insert that came with the kit. The 5/16 insert has approximately 9/32" of an inch in crushable area so 1/4" material may be the max. Now that will also vary depending on the size of insert ypu use (the smaller the insert the shorter the shoulder will be) regardless, I think everyone needs to own one of these... Good luck thanks for watching and commenting...

    Great review. You act like you almost know what you are talking about(joke). Looks like a tool shop environment. You are the best type of review to get. When you break something, you find out why and take responsibility. Thats how we learn. Push the tool to its limits then back off a bit. Thanks for your full explanation. I'm looking to buy one but the reviews are mostly from home owners or hobby car enthusiasts. I saw the mandral quick change with the "T" slot and liked it right off the bat.
    Gonna be a handy tool.

      I really appreciate the positive feedback! I get told I talk to much in my videos but feel like there is always something to talk about😂 especially if you break the tool in the review 😂😂...Thanks again and I am glad it helped.. Side note, the quick change collet is awesome..👍

    Isn’t it possible to re-crimp the nut if it’s loose?

    • @ChallengeTheBuild
      @ChallengeTheBuild  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'd imagine so... As long as the threads aren't messed up and you can still get to the nut-sert I would say yes... In theory it seems like it would work... Can't hurt to try..🤷‍♂️
