March 2019. I just replaced all four speakers in my 94 Ford Ranger with these ''Pyle''s, I soldered wires onto the speakers then butt spliced the speakers in the truck wiring (also installed a Kenwood KMM-BT222U) Sounds alot better than the old speakers n stereo, doesn't boom as I go down the street I ain't no gangsta wannabe. Now my truck sounds like a concert hall inside it! These Pyles are good speakers but you have to have a good stereo to push them! Do some research before purchasing any speakers, make sure your stereo puts out enough power to run the speakers but not so much that you blow them in a week! Usually stock speakers in an older Ranger are only rated for 25 watts each. Don't waste your time n money just mixin and matchin!

I know it's been a long time, but did you use the same speakers in both the front and the back? Also I wondered if you kept the radio you had.

I just installed Kicker 6x8 s in the front doors of a 99 ranger. The specs on the speakers will work good with factory radio for now, and will handle some additional power later on. I was pissed no speaker wire behind rear grills. oh well for now

Excellent video, but I was hoping for more of a demo at the end. I have a '93 Ranger, which is essentially the same as yours. There isn't anything faulty with my speakers, but as you know they sound pretty lousy. Did you find that installing these new speakers was a significant improvement and do you think they are worth it even if the stock speakers still perform as intended?
I love my music, but I don't love it in my beloved Ranger.

+Ted Riggs ya due to copyright I cant really demo them, but yet they are alot better than the stock ones.

The Metra 72-5600 will not fit in my 98 Ford Ranger. I ended up ordering the Metra 72-5512 because even though Amazon claims they won't fit, all the reviewers say Amazon is wrong. I will have to change the female spade connectors as all the reviewers say they are too small for most aftermarket speakers. I got a pair of Rockford Fosgate Punch P1683's and I'm glad I read the reviews for this harness as they all said for those speakers I'd need to change the spade connectors, lol.

    junk speakers tho...I recommend Pioneer
I have 4 years of car audio installation.
    Tip:
You do not need the factory clip you can just cut off the old stock speaker leaving some wire on the harness your cutting off keep the speakers with the plug and little bit of wire. Next connect your new speaker to the wires coming from the door to the new speaker with barrel connectors (very cheap). Now whenever you want to sell your car or take out those speakers out you can cut that speaker connection and reconnect old speaker with barrel connectors. You may heatshrink or electrical tape these connections to make them more weatherproof.

Pyle is a lower brand. I see there products in shop. I gotta say there speakers are not bad. Very cheap for what they are. But with my experience and knowledge I really dont recommend using there amplifiers or subwoofers or Car stereos . They have way to much problems.. want amazing cheap car audio? Building a new system? Try out boss audio. They also are a lower brand but they have way better reviews than Pyle.

Ya because you cant get an accurate listen with the cameras microphone, there’s no point. It’s like recording a tv with a camera to show the picture quality. Shouldn’t even have to explain that.
