Shoulder lock danger after the roll? I know there’s a shoulder lock if the defender does a forward roll, attacker just has to sit on the shoulder and push down like a kimura finish. Looks like a similar position here
Bjj is a cool sport but not very practical for self defense. I say learn boxing, 90% of it is cardio so you can run. If you cant run, you dont want to be going to the ground on the street or in a bar ect. I stopped bjj training and switched to boxing for this reason ^^
@kev4233 there's no cage on the street bro, you gotta catch me first. I promise my cardio is better. I don't think you understand the concept of self defense. Avoiding the fight is #1, if you're taking bjj for offensive moves like takedowns I suspect you're the A hole starting fights
Never happen.
this some Master Yoda level shit.
I never got armbarred after rolling. Because you roll and scramble back to guard or get up.
The reason why rolling isn’t ideal is because the attacker can roll again and get an even deeper omaplata
Just roll wtf

Idk what these comments are on about, when i roll it never works
Don’t try this if you’re against a 6ft 4 blue belt wrestler who loves omaplatas!
Don't try that against Clark or Pulga
Thanks! Now i know what to do if somone pulls an omaplata on me XD

I wish I could switch but the nearest boxing facility is an hour away
Boxing is great for SD, but I'm not willing to be needlessly punched in the head on a regular basis.
Learn as much as you can from all legit arts. Most fights end up on the ground anyways, so it’s better to be ready for it than to be clueless
A boxer has no defence to a takedown. Bjj wins all day
