The only way to learn is on the expressway trust me you have more think time versus if u drive through the back roads and you'll get more comfortable driving faster. Just make sure you look twice before you switch lanes cuz idiots will sneak up on u hahaha.
my first time driving I followed my brother to a store and he said he had to go somewhere and I did not know how to get back home. set my address on the gps and it took me on the highway. scary but no crashes, just have to go out and do it the safest you can

I’ve seen quite a few drivers around my age who like drive while holding the wheel in a 8 and 4 o clock position or somewhere around there. Is there a reason for that? I’m just wondering cause I’m new to driving
I know u posted this a while ago and prolly have the answer to ur question 😂 but when I was learning I did 9 & 3 but when I became more comfortable driving and got my license so I wasn’t worried about having my hands a certain way, 8 and 4 just became more comfortable

i have my license but how do i convince my parents to let me drive on my own? they said not until im 18 even tho i alr have my license. they wont even let me go to the elementary school 2 min from my house. the whole reason i got my license is bc they always ahve work when i need to be dropped/picked so i ahve to wait there for like an hour or i have to cancel things like work/clubs/volunteering

Just a question but is it not illegal to use your phone whilst driving? Here in the UK you can get your license taken off of you if you've had it for less than 2 years! Your nerves should settle once you've gained confidence in your driving 😊

I freaked out when my car ran out of gas once, stuck in the county side near Canada's border. The most I've ever freaked out was when my plane ran out of gas and I had to land in the middle of nowhere in a desert, no signal, no protection, Tarantulas coming up to me and I was just looking at them like a staring contest then they went away. 3 people came by my plane and went to get gas for my plane, and they came back 20 minutes with gas. After that I never trusted my plane again with the gas tank of how many gallons it can hold.

Hey I would recommend taking of the steering wheel cover since those can be damgerous. (The cover slipping over the wheel)
