  • Yo guys, DJ R4ve-n coming at you with a new review video.
These CDJ's from Numark and this mixer from Pioneer are amazing and are definitely recommended by me to anybody wishing to start working with DJ CD players. A bit pricy but worth it.
Apologies for the bad camera angles, I was using my iPad.

These look nice. Gonna try to pick up this setup used. Cheapest mixer I could find that is good quality and has filters.

Anyone else have troubles with beatmatching as the bpms change constantly

I'll admit I never liked the speed changing sliders on these. They worked in percentage rather than bpm. An odd design feature if there ever was one

@@CorvusSynths That because these kind of devices try and copy how vinyl turntables work.

you shouldn't be using the screen to beat match

Iv hated that the bpms jump too . Do the 500s do that or is it a numark think or what ?

would you say i should get the ndx 400s or just a controller? im just starting off and used to have to mixtrack pro 2 but havent djed in a while

Short answer: I'd buy a controller if I were you.
      Long answer:
Depending on what controller you're looking at it would be MUCH cheaper and better to buy a new controller. Possibly a 4-channel like the Pinoeer DDJ-SB or something similar. If you really do want to try out the NDX-400/500s then you're going to need a mixer unit. It kinda comes down to how much money you have/are willing to spend. I didn't use my NDXs that much in the end because I found the pitch sliders to be very hard to use accurately so I just saved my money and bought a new controller.

you said you haven't made videos in a while, I guess your huge fan Base got tired of waiting and left 😢 and only 9 loyal subscribers stuck around dude 🙌👍

Actually my channel never took off. This video and my other review took off magically compared to my other content. I now only use this channel for subscriptions and playlists (most of which are private).
