    Just found out about this timepiece a few days ago. It is absolutely stunning. Unfortunately the price has increased to $2195. With this review being 1 year old, I would not have expected the coupon code to be valid anymore. It is. I have just purchased the watch for $1712. No sales taxes or shipping fees. This has saved me $467. Thank you, Rob!

    I love this piece and at the price from Mimo’s jewelry and what you told us about him and his passion I am pretty impressed and really thinking of pulling the trigger. This has been that integrated bracelet along with beautiful case, dial that tops em all especially at that price.
    Solid brand that deserves a lot more credit. Thanks RR for the review and both you guys for the DCode !

    That crown does not look like it has "tons of traction." It looks just like my Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra crown and it's one of the worst. It is tough to turn and very slippery, unlike the one on my Tudor Pelagos.

    I own this watch, it is a chronometer! It's a great daily watch! Very underrated brand, I own 5 FC watches and they are all awesome!!!!
    This has an integrated bracelet and influenced by patek (Nautilus(bracelet), Aquanaut (dial design)) and Omega Constellation (case design). But it is unique in its own way.
    I think if it was 39mm it maybe more appealing for the masses but the current size is great for me.
    This is a quality watch for less than $2000.00. I own the blue dial.

    My only question is why did they bother with a rubber strap on a watch with only 5 atm rating? A 10 atm rating seems to be where this watch should reside. Additionally, that movement looks pretty basic for 2K. They plated and stamped their name onto a stock rotor. I'm not knocking it too much. The finishing looks great and the bracelet is nice. For 1.5K it looks like a good deal.

    This is a cool watch but it's such a tough price range to be competing in. For not that much more you're already into Breitling and Omega territory (pre-owned at least). I paid under $2k for my Breilting colt for example. I have to admit I'd much rather have a Breitling than a Frederique Constant, even though I know the FC is high quality and worth the money.
    Anyway that's my 2 cents that nobody asked for and nobody cares about.

      @@MpSSpeaker not really the bigger brands are bringing there watches down and making them smaller

    • @MpSSpeaker
      @MpSSpeaker 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AK-pr2nk some, I agree but take a look at the new releases by Zenith (the normal 38 mm El Primero is gone except the Boutique Ed.) or the Sub from Rolex, JLC gone bigger with their Master line earlier this year. But yes, there is a glimpse at the horizon with TAG's new limited Carreras and Breiting's, how they call it? Think B09 heritage something (I'd love to own the green one but another story). But still: finding a dress watch below 40 - somewhere between 38 down to 36 mm isn't easy if you do not want to go for the usual suspects (Rolex, Nomos), a cool looking chrono at 38 or below is, at least from the major brands, not in reach.

    • @AK-pr2nk
      @AK-pr2nk 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MpSSpeaker the sub isn't a dress watch. Rolex explorer is 36mm, Rolex OP is 36mm, omega aqua terra 38mm.

    • @MpSSpeaker
      @MpSSpeaker 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AK-pr2nk didn't mean the dress watch in special - as you can see by the examples I made (namely the El Primero and the B09) - neither is the Explorer or the Seamster you mentioned one 😉
      And I wrote - except the usual suspects and set Rolex in brackets, I didn't want to mention every model to make my point, e. g. the Oyster Perpetual, the Explorer in the new version, the Date-Just and the Day-Date.
      The Daytona is a 39 mm too if you measure how most companies measure their watches, Rolex tends to make their watches bigger on paper for better marketing opportunities 😏 therefore I count Rolex and Nomos out because they are going a different way than most companies do.
      As I wrote: I am talking about the majority. You are right, the Omega Seamaster is a 38.5 but has grown over the last decade.
      It started at 34 mm, was 36 mm back in 2005 and afaik between 2010 and 2018 it grew from 37-38 mm to the 38.5 we see today. Even if it is still under 40 mm I think it follows the trend too.
      AP is another good example as well as VC - watch-sizes that are formally marketed as men's dress watches are now women's watches (Royal Oak and Oversees). I do not care if on my wrist sits a woman or a man's timepiece but it shows the way the watch industry or at least their marketing departments think.
      Or new to me: Norqain and Favre-Leubar - almost everything below 40 mm from their collection is a woman's watch
