- Today I will take you shopping in Thailand's best supermarket in 2024 and show you a price breakdown on what it takes to eat in Bangkok. Can we complete the mission with $50... is it even possible? You wont believe the crazy twist at the end. Join me as I head to Lotus supermarket to do shopping for some necessities and food. I will walk you down many isles and show you prices on dozens of items so you can compare the cost of living in Bangkok in 2024 to your country. Lotus is a huge supermarket, reminding me much like WalMart. They have everything from clothes, to furniture to toilet paper, and of course pre packed and fresh food. You can find pretty much everything you need for your home at one of Thailand’s best supermarkets here in Bangkok. Many things are much cheaper than you would find in most stores in a western country. However, any item that is imported is of course much more expensive here. I will show you items with prices for: food, snacks, beverages, fresh meat, fruit, eggs, bread, chicken, fish, pork and so much more.
