Had the opportunity to hop in the boat with Chase Palosaari up in the U.P. and go to one of the coolest fishing destinations in the world on Lake Superior. Stannard Rock!!! Watch us catch a bunch of mongo lake trout including my new gonna be hard to beat PB.

It's pretty fun to hook into one of those big greasy perch gobbling monsters when you are ice fishing the shallows targeting perch on a Russian hook. Saginaw bay ice season is so fun.

This is awesome, I live in Iron Mountain which is right on the border of the UP and Wisconsin and with that being said, watching this makes me feel closer to the team lol. And also the fishing is awesome. Can't wait to hopefully make it down there with my daughter to a game and hopefully get the chance to meet you man 🙏🏾 And screw the Packers 🤣

Did you guys make the run out there solo? What kind of range do you have in the Skeeter? (I've tossed around the idea of heading there with a small group of boats before.) This definitely gets me thinking about it again.

Yes, solo, I do it often. I burn about 33 gallons round trip, 51 gallon tank.
@@chasepalosaari Cool, thanks. I have a Tyee 1950 I/O with a 350.... probably not quite as easy on the fuel as your Skeeter, but it should be within range then.
