If this doesn't tell fans he was done with this part of his life, I dont know what would. Artists need to expand creatively and move forward. When there's no room in the room, its time to exit.

Wilder was a member of Depeche for 13 years. He was there during their glory days.
Money should be his last problem in life. Why did he sell all his gear?
He got divorced ! had to sell his mansion and virtually all his possessions (sadly) shame really .. he should of got more credit for the work he did for DM , I did read recently that the door was always "open" for him to return to DM , it seems that he doesn't want the bother now ..either that or pride .. DM is not the same without his input ...

@@luvacav Sometimes the grass CAN be greener on the other side .. (like in my case for the same reasons as Alan) .. but the dilemma is you`ll never know until you try .. and that`s just life i guess .

$310k is not even gonna buy a house these days how sad all that memory had to be sold for that little money! just to pay for the divorces, but I know he kept some important stuff himself it's not like he sold absolutely everything from DM days
