Jody, these are beautiful! Your end products are all lovely! I have at least four sets of nesting dies and never thought to use them this way. I am very excited to learn you will be making cards on Thursdays. I have all kinds of tools now and paper, glue, ephemera, glitter, beads, buttons, sequins, die cuts, paper punch outs and Heaven knows what else -- so I am ready. I did not realize either that I could make a frame from the nesting dies I have. Wow - thanks for opening my eyes! You are the BEST! I made a thank you card for my friend's husband who did my taxes this year. He was very impressed and told his wife that never in his life had anyone made him anything like that. She said she was sure he would keep it forever. Thanks for all you do!

Thank you for the different idea on shaker cards. I find when die cutting foam, it needs to be left for a good while to expand back to shape after being squished in the die cutter.

Yes, that is the big shot. I know because I have one. I don't really make many cards, I do a lot of paper crafting. But this is starting to inspire me. So I just may start making shaker cards. Lord knows I have the supplies.

Very nicely done! I have been making cards for years. I started with the idea that they would be cheaper than buying them. I do love making them for birthdays and especially Christmas. I have quite a collection of supplies. It’s rather addicting! Blessings

Very pretty cards. Amazing you could do them with hot glue. I I have to use liquid glue so that I have time to line them up. Lol! And I put the frame on the acetate before putting it over the shaker base. So funny. We all develop our own ways that work for us. 🥰

Those are beautiful, Jody!! I used to belong to a “stampin up” club. We would meet once a month and make cards and do an order. We would take turns hosting the parties. It was so much fun. I would love to get back to making my own cards. My mom loved to get my handmade cards. I’ve never made a shaker card. I’d love to try my hand at that. Tfs 😊

I have used double sided tape where you are using hot glue , for my shaker card . I did put too many things in the shaker area., and had to use less to give more room . It is frustrating to make , even if fun out come ❣️

Double sided tape will hold it all. There are lots of videos on TH-cam with great tutorials on card making
