Would love to see more of our black youth pick up instruments and put down guns! The band was and still is a lot of our ways, out of the hood. May you all be blessed!

I'm Brazilian and I would like to understand the role of mellos in American bands. Are they a reinforcement of the trumpet's timbre, are they harmony or counterpoint between trombones and trumpets?
More the latter, but they definitely add a distinct timbral quality and a much needed alto line to the brass choir. They tend to round out rough edges in trumpet sound the same way a clarinet can when doubling.
Exactly what I needed to start my day at 5 am
That’s all it take😂
Mine too lol
Mine three!
Not 5 am 😂😂😂

Nice, I saw all those Jukebox shirts. Great job directors...
That surprised me tbh. Didn’t know a lot of New Orleans kids still join the Jukebox. Thought it was mostly Texas, Mississippi & Alabama kids now

I wish there existed a playlist of dope music like this "marching band version." It's so cool like for working out
I've been thinking of making the marching band version of Pandora. Stay tuned.

Ya can't get in trouble if you play in a band. Support your local HS Band. Go to their football games. Give them money for new instruments.
