I’m not an electrician but I’ve worked on a lot of my own electrical projects in the last 20 years-- one thing I’ve noticed is a lot of work I’ve done both on my homes and other peoples’ homes is I tend to find a lot of sloppy work done by professional electricians-- I know time is money for you guys but come on, take pride in your work--I know you all don’t work that way, but I’ve found so much substandard work done by “pros” that I’m starting to think you all work that way
Sign up with the IBEW or find the local independent chapter in your area. Once you do either one, find an apprenticeship. Both will pretty much land you a job somewhere. Don't just sign up for a school/class as you need the work experience and both will send you to school. Also, save at the very least $500 for hand tools and a bag/belt and pouch.
I would recommend either this multi tool: Multi Tool 7-in-1 with Hybrid Pliers, Screwdrivers, Pocket Knife, Wire Cutter-Stripper, More Klein Tools 44216 www.amazon.com/dp/B07DFBFWDR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_-2WkFbNPPS097 Or a custom made canvas tool bag either in traditional white canvas or black, engraved with his name. Can be used for tools, traveling or to carry anything He wants! My wife got me one with my name for Christmas and I use it for traveling as it’s an Absolutely beautiful bag and a real eye turner! www.kleintoolscanvas.com/?KC&BA2.1&KCSS&SelfAd&Personalize
Lol!!!! Very true! I have a pair of klien lineman's and honestly I like using my Irwin brand linesman's better than the kliens. My Irwin's have a built in crimper and a special slot to pull fish tape with out damaging the line. But anyway you have to have a electricians hammer otherwise known as lineman's. Oh and my klien lineman is mostly used as a small hammer than my Irwin's.
+Charles Morris I haven't seen them, plus the newer Irwins surpass the Klein brand linemans. better construction better feel and cut better and cleaner with less effort than kliens'. not too mention the price that's on most of kliens products its way too steep for doing the exact same job or its intended purpose. and like other products alternative to klien, these Irwin linemans do a better job than kliens' current line up. maybe klien finally did come out with a pair like Irwin did but I bet it also cost way more and still not as good as the newer Irwins. Irwin has been stepping up their hand tool lineup and I am very impressed with them lately. their diagonal cutters that I recently got are amazing! they cut like a hot knife through butter on framing nails, staples, copper wire of various gauges, tie wire, just about what ever you need them for these do it better. they have good bite to pull nails out quite easily and slimmer profile than the bulky kliens for tighter spaces. comparing both Irwin and 3 different styles of Klein diagonal cutters (dikes) it's night and day. and they didn't cost nearly as much. I'm not being cheap but it's the clear evidence of quality in the tool and the longevity that made me look in another direction. why would you pay high dollars for a cheaply made tool or poorly designed tool? I think klien has had their hay day and just like Stanley, they've been getting cheaper and cheaper every year on quality but kept the same price tag or getting higher on a poor tool. I think Irwin is going on the right direction as far as hand tools. they don't have everything but I like what they are doing.
YES harbor freight tools mat be less expensive but they wouldn't last years of daily use, like I use my klein tools. Only harbor freight tools I buy are ones I use occasionally. Like mechanics tools....
I have a coworker that always tells me to go harbor freight, but i prefer my higher end tools not just klein. Harbor freight and box stores brand tools are good for if they are going to get wet and dont care about being nice to them.
Truth is that I don't use the benders "that" often... don't do much commercial, mostly residential. I've been an electrician for 13 years now so I hope that I've "worked" some! :) :)
I'm gonna steal ur yellow needle nose pliers 😜 lol jk. Nice video. Anyone talking shit about Klien don't know much about them. Thanks for sharing. LOCAL 3 NYC IBEW
I'm nuts about keeping my tools clean and even polished. I never use a steel hammer on the back of a screwdriver. there are impact screwdrivers for that.
sorry but klein benders are the worst. my 3/4 bender has 6 3/8" take up! and the cast around the handle cracked while bending rigid. also i started moving away from klein. i started buying ideal and greenlee hand tools. i like them better.
Fluke for my meters. Knipex for my pliers. Wiha for my screwdrivers. And then there is my Klein for cutting and terminations, and a variety of drivers. Don't buy knipex! If you do, you'll say bye bye to most of your Kleins
Always great to see a fellow Klein lover. Best tools in the world
Wow.. kleined up to the gills. Very nice 👍

I do love my Klein tools but I mix it up
With other brands.
U have a lot of nice tools. I get a lot of commercial electric tools but i am working on get all klein tools
Cool. My wife has her shoe collection which I,am always up grading.
I love that you are showing tools that have been used.
This dude rolled out his collection of Klein tools. 😂
I dig the Klein thermos. Klein's Tradesman Pro Series Bags are great. As for screwdrivers I prefer Wera. For pliers I like NWS.
I'd explore other brands. I use a lot of kline. but they aren't the best for every tool.
nice tools i have most of those... the only difference is my pliers are knipex
I want the klein bore scope . Ill get one from ebay used
I want to be electrician. What is the first step? Should I go to school?

Nice tools bag keep it on
Are all klein wire cutters V1?
Hey any suggestions for a klein tool for my boyfriend who's an electrical engineering student that I can gift him? Please comment. I need help 🥺

where is you Multimeter in this video or clamp meter?
Knipex and NWS tools are better inmy opinion hands down. Dont forget Snap-on too.
Knipex is best but not Snap-on. I personally stripped out two Snap-on ratchets.
No Klein meter?
como puedo conseguir el termo para café kien se sabe el número de serie para pedirlo....🤔🤔🤔
huh... an Electrician but no linesmens...
I have since gotten a pair of linesmen but to be honest with you I don't use them that often....

+Ivan Castillo Klein offers lineman pliers with a fish tape puller as well as a built in crimper FYI. Numerous other variations also. Check em out.

+Ivan Castillo good troll
you see there is this place called harbor freight you see

+KDogProdoctionFiles
Harbor freight is not a serious choice for professionals who rely on their tools. Harbor freight is junk.
lol is this bitch serious?😂😂 HF is absolute BS
lmaoooo
That's my tools love it
thanks for sharing this Nice video
All those tools look brand new
the benders do.
I noticed that 😂 does he just buy tools and never work
Truth is that I don't use the benders "that" often... don't do much commercial, mostly residential. I've been an electrician for 13 years now so I hope that I've "worked" some! :) :)

if you ever use ideal, greenlee or knipex youll see the difference. kleins not the same.
Need to add the duct knife.
That thermo cup lol
I would never put my tools on the ground like this I love em too much ..... not an electricion but did enjoy the video, thanks!

The plastic cased Allen are trash. I love the small blue wire strips.
You actually have Klein meters? HUH, really?
Fluke for my meters. Knipex for my pliers. Wiha for my screwdrivers. And then there is my Klein for cutting and terminations, and a variety of drivers.
Don't buy knipex! If you do, you'll say bye bye to most of your Kleins
+IKE i like my knipex linesman and long handle side cuts
klein has gone down hill in quality over the years ive noticed its really kinda sad :(
Yo can i borrow your tools?😂
hello from russia =)
An electrician that says he strips wiring by “pulling on the wire” is no electrician
Brad Neiderhiser
Apparently you can’t hear that well. I said “pull and strip on the wire” in other words “pull and strip the insulation on the wire”
You have a cable finder but not a hacksaw and hammer? What sort of electrician are you 😂😂😂😂
why is everyone so obsessed with Klein tools? They honestly look bad compared to Wera/Knipex/Stanley/Fluke...
I am sorry but your review is bland!
