Gray Squadron Gaming knows the rules! While that’s 100% true, at 38:17 the phase 2’s spent both an aim and a surge token to punch Maul which they should not have been able to do given that Maul had played duel of the fates. It was still a great game as always!

GSG has the rules…but didi Don forget Poggle’s standby off the BARC. Super close game, fun to watch. Geonosians are going to be tough to match up against, and great to see B2s getting more love (although I still think they should have surge:block)

Can a clone trooper unit use a dodge on another clone trooper unit's Prepared Supplies card?
No, as the token is on the card, and not with the unit until they choose to spend it.

Love the game, but I do have one think to point, around 16:42 when the arc troopers where getting shot at by the spider droid and spent the 3 doges from cache, anakin, and another clone unit, You can only spend one token from a friendly clone unit. But I could be wrong. Also poor maul on round 2 😢

oh and btw: loosing echo like this sucks so hard, after loosing him once to an orbital bombardement, i only put him in a full squad of ARCs now to keep him safe

54:12- Yeah, nah….. I didn’t notice either of you “breaking any rules”….. technically!?! I mean besides what I said earlier! But that was more of a mistake than breaking the rules!?! And since it wasn’t a serious game (so not at a tournament) and it was with your friend, clearly it gets a pass! But it is one of those things that if you are teaching people that is a acceptable thing to do in the game then their going to find out the hard way that it’s actually not if they ever play against a stickler for the rules or in a tournament setting!!!

That said, at 33:25 Impervious was used wrong and even if it hadn't been, Five's unit had 6 health left and so shouldn't have died. With duel of fates I was expecting Don to try to go finish Anakin, aim, use disengage to walk out, attack Anakin when he can't spend any tokens. Not sure if that would have been better though.

@@graysquadrongaming86708 hits were rolled, with pierce 2. 10 defence dice were rolled for 7 blocks. 2 are pierced. 5 blocks remain. 8 - 5 = 3 damage

Glad to see my boy maul got to do some work after that fire support. One question about the geonosians and the sonic cannons, in both games you haven’t been using the scatter key word. I was wondering if that was just an oversight?
More often then not the scatter wouldn’t have helped due to when they activated or shooting units with only 1 or 2 models
Ah ok, I’m pretty new to the game but will be play as the separatists as my brothers gonna be the clones. The geonosians look very interesting and I think I’ll get some when they come out so watching you recent games with them on the table has been good watching for me

I thought the droids could have pulled out the win with one more turn. I'm saying that as a clone player wanting clones to win. Iv been working with a fun rex build right now. Down side is the second you play call me captain he just melts.

I think the arcs shouldn't have died, right? You rolled a good amount and I think you counted your impervious dice as wounds as well. Also, I knew that force push saber throw was coming with anakin, I would have been so sad if I didn't kill maul with that. Wild.

@graysquadrongaming8670 Ya the Spiders lost you the game essentially. I think Droideka are better than them atm. They have decent AI (Move, Attack is the best), they're slightly cheaper and they can be used effectively on breakthrough, etc. Just not a fan of spiders atm.
Great Game, BUT.....(I hate this), at 38:28 minutes, the Phase II's could not use an AIM nor could they use the SURGE as Maul's Card disallows Engaged units from spending tokens

24:08- Yeah, that’s why even though I love Darth/Lord Maul as a character, I’m not a fan of him in this game!!! Because he is way weaker and not as dangerous as he should be even though he cost like he is!?! I get that there’s not much wiggle room with how they originally made the game….. but in no way is that my fault! And it would have been way easier to fix before they came out with so much!!! But yeah, it feels like if you use Maul in any offense heavy styles he is going to die very quickly! So right off the bad, if you are making a list with Maul and you know you want him to attack then you also know that you have to pick up another commander to lead!?! And that’s a lot of points!!!
All the saber users have some issues. And may can be solid offensively. It all depends on how you build your list. And not every list or unit is going to be competitive. Sometimes you just play them cause you like them.
What level patreon would be needed to convince you guys to check out some custom rules?

Hey team new to Legion can you tell me how the panic rule works? Can't figure it from the rules properly.
If you have more then double your courage value you panic, but you can use your commanders courage value at range 3 to increase your panic to match theirs. When you panic you lose all your actions. Drop any objective tokens you have, dont count for scoring objectives. You then remove suppression up to your courage value and that is your actovation

15:14- Oh…….. I had to go back and watch again…. Because I guess I wasn’t paying enough attention the first time!?! It almost sounded like you moved, moved and then shot!?! But you moved, but didn’t measure before hand like you should have and then you moved back a bit! (Which I guess depending on what the purpose of these videos are would definitely determine if you should be doing it that way?!? Like if you’re just screwing around and just giving your followers extra content, that’s fine…. But if this is supposed to help new and old players learn the game better, I definitely wouldn’t do it like that) Like I know if I’m playing a game with a friend then I’m not going to worry about it much….. but if I’m playing in a tournament or against someone that is a D bag about the rules and expect me to follow every single rule to the letter, then no! I differently wouldn’t allow that!!! “Sorry, but you moved twice and that is both of your turns! It doesn’t matter if the 2nd action was to take away some of the distance that you got off of the 1st action! It’s still 2 moves! And unless you have something (that doesn’t exist for that unit) to give you a free move action or a free attack action after you move, your turn is done!” Yes, it is a D bag thing to do! But that is why I already said the only reasons why I would stand by it!!!
I just re watched it cause this is a bit older. I moved up with one move…. Checking range and still in that same move action decided not to use the full speed two and just went back a touch then triggered tactical and shot. There was never a second move in this action. The regular games are always between friends and more friendly games. The cup series we do is more of the competitive structure. Even playing at world though, people did exactly what they did on screen and I never saw anyone give them any problem with that. Thanks for watching!

I’m not sure what you’re seeing? If you’re talking about the arcs, they moved and shoot. Joe moved them and then wanted to make sure he was just in range. It wasn’t an additional move action it was just making sure his end position was where he wanted them to be. We have to do a lot of premeasring and moving before we film the shot. So that the viewers are not watching us think and debate and measure on camera. Sometimes that can translate to what looks like illegal or sloppy moves but it’s because we do more off camera to make sure the videos are streamlined.
