Thanks for a very timely message on a off market day so it sinks in. We are all uniquely odd, in a good way, because we are not perfect. I couldn’t agree with you more. The mental fight each one of us faces is with ourselves and not with the outside world. It is always you vs you. I can’t tell you how much time I spend everyday convincing myself that I am special and deserving…and has been going on since I was a kid. Without that foundation it is very difficult to trust yourself and your decisions … and when you are wrong the same trust also allows you to correct yourself. Even as unique individuals we are attracted to thoughts and ideas that resonate with ours. It is preferable to be in a bad deal with good people over a good deal with bad people, but I would rather be in a good deal with good people.

The most important commodities are time (because you can't get it back) and your name (because if you trick people, it will be very difficult for them to trust you again). Warren Buffett once said that when he was born, he won a lottery ticket. Because of the time he was born in and what he studied and worked. Indeed he seems a very humble man, who will leave a legacy not only to his children, but to all people who studied what he has done. There is an interesting documentary on him, called Becoming Warren Buffett.

Nio spends too much and earns too little, and most of spending isn't on R&D, they act as if they are already making massive profits, they have never made a profit.

I've been a NIO share holder for over 2 years. However it's been very difficult to watch the company not care much about its investors. Yes yes NIO is early in the game. It's been slowly growing. But the stock price is dying. 1 step forward and 5 steps backwards.
