My experience about Kabak Koyu is about 8 years ago. It was definitely a hippie place, and our trekking group arrived there with full gear and fully dusted from walking. We were like astranauts compared to those local hippies, and one of them said: "can you ask them to fix one of the toilets, they do not listen us here". Cause he thought we could help 😂 I am Turkish by the way

Sorry you had to experience that, it was not a typical food poisoning. you ate some fish that had a toxin. sometimes it comes down to learning the eating habits of a local fish to know what not to try. but because of your description of the symptoms, i know for sure it wasn't typical food poisoning. it's quite scary if you don't know what is going on.
