It's sort of like they knew Zayn could crumble and they didn't want to draw too much attention to how close they sat to Zayn, but you notice these little things as you get a different perspective on it.

I literally HATE the management for overworking them so much. Zayn looks like he’s about to pass out and break down in tears. He was starving himself and could’ve died. We could’ve lost Zayn forever. I was watching the movie and in one clip, they revealed that Zayn only got 10 minutes of sleep and then had to go sing in the studio. Yeah they’re the biggest boy band of all time. Yeah they’re successful. But at what cost. Zayn was so miserable in the band that he had to leave. Even though the boys aren’t together anymore, doesn’t mean that the management has the right to use their talent and their songs to make some more money. The boys aren’t objects that you can use for money. Money is so not important when it comes to friends and family. The band members have been through so much and they make music to make them happy. To make the fans happy. They don’t do it for money. They do it because it’s their passion. The directioners drive them to make songs and to never give up even when it gets tough. The boys have made so many people feel accepted and they have never ending love for us. They’re like rays of sunshine and their smiles are infectious. It’s disgusting how the management just uses them and doesn’t care about anything or anyone else but filthy money. I love one direction and even though they are on hiatus, they don’t deserve this. I know Niall, Liam, and Louis are ready to come back as one Direction but I don’t know about Harry and Zayn left for a reason so he isn’t coming back. I want them to come back and tour Made in the A.M. but I want them to take their time and really make sure they’re ready to go. I also want them to find a management that doesn’t overwork them and takes care of their health.

Also during every single high note of Zayn's Harry keeps looking at him as if to see if it is causing him pain. You can clearly observe this during the high note when Zayn hold his stomach(in his condition, doing a note like that will cause him pain), Harry looks pained. According to what I understood, he was the only one who knew about his condition and so is concerened.
The fact that they were so controlled by their management, depressed, and Zayn hadn’t eaten in days and they were still amazing, proves how strong, and legendary they are, and always will be.
Looking back when Zayn left One Direction I was so hurt and was at times even angry at him for leaving; but now that I'm older I realise that him leaving saved his life. I honestly cry everytime I see this video. Not bcoz I miss them but bcoz of Zayn. He was so weak and sad. It was as though he couldn't wait to get out of there. This is a sign that he was struggling to find his breath for the note and was in pain. We can clearly see his eating disorder showing.

@@nhdee Actually no body knows the exact reason but it is said that , being a solo artist was his dream and the music one direction had , it wasn't Zayn's type. He is more into R&B type . And also his health and the management was one of the reasons. They used to tour one after other , which affected Zayn's Health and it was obviously because of the management.
Watching this in 2022 recalling when this album came out and seeing their faces in this hurts. You can see how emotionally not ok they are. These boys deserved so much more than what their management at the time gave them. They were all broken and it breaks my heart. You can see how much this song means to them its in the way they look ad the way they are singing it and honestly I couldn't be more proud to call these boys the ones who stole my heart and saved my life I will always be a directioner
reading all the comments just made me cry more, they look so sad and teary I felt sorry for them for they worked so hard and I could've been more proud of those lads. During these days were so toxic that they can't be each others back support cause all of them are so tired and empty but still give their presence. I understand Zayn not enjoying this hard times, if he did not leave he could die starving himself. And going on different pathways made them set free and happy. Well in this video he looks so sad because this was the peak time of when he was suffering from his eating disorder. It started 2014 and got really bad in Nov. of 2014 which was when it was filmed. At 3:07 is when you can really tell because of how heavily he was leaning on the mic/stand when he was singing.
This video should be compulsory viewing to show how much life musical management can suck out of their acts. The fantastic spark and joy that the boys displayed at the start of their careers has disappeared- Louis’ weight loss is very visible and Niall’s sunny smile is missing. Thankfully they’ve survived and we are lucky that we can still see them when they were enjoying the whole experience.

I literally HATE the management for overworking them so much. Zayn looks like he’s about to pass out and break down in tears. He was starving himself and could’ve died. We could’ve lost Zayn forever. I was watching the movie and in one clip, they revealed that Zayn only got 10 minutes of sleep and then had to go sing in the studio. Yeah they’re the biggest boy band of all time. Yeah they’re successful. But at what cost. Zayn was so miserable in the band that he had to leave.
Even though the boys aren’t together anymore, doesn’t mean that the management has the right to use their talent and their songs to make some more money. The boys aren’t objects that you can use for money. Money is so not important when it comes to friends and family. The band members have been through so much and they make music to make them happy. To make the fans happy. They don’t do it for money. They do it because it’s their passion. The directioners drive them to make songs and to never give up even when it gets tough. The boys have made so many people feel accepted and they have never ending love for us. They’re like rays of sunshine and their smiles are infectious. It’s disgusting how the management just uses them and doesn’t care about anything or anyone else but filthy money. I love one direction and even though they are on hiatus, they don’t deserve this.
I know Niall, Liam, and Louis are ready to come back as one Direction but I don’t know about Harry and Zayn left for a reason so he isn’t coming back. I want them to come back and tour Made in the A.M. but I want them to take their time and really make sure they’re ready to go. I also want them to find a management that doesn’t overwork them and takes care of their health.

I know I feel so bad, now that you notice that it really wasn't as happy as they made it out to be. With all the things going on now with Liam, Louis cancelling part of his tour, Harry's backlash and rumours and Zayn's constant silence it just seems like Niall is the only happy one out of them. I mean I can't assume I don't know but it just all seems wrong just like it seemed wrong back then

Poor Zayn. His eyes look so sad. He was fuckin miserable. I’m so glad that he’s in a much better place now. He’s happy, healthy and has Gigi and his daughter. Also during every single high note of Zayn's Harry keeps looking at him as if to see if it is causing him pain. You can clearly observe this during the high note when Zayn hold his stomach(in his condition, doing a note like that will cause him pain), Harry looks pained. According to what I understood, he was the only one who knew about his condition and so is concerened.

Looking back when Zayn left One Direction I was so hurt and was at times even angry at him for leaving; but now that I'm older I realise that him leaving saved his life. Nearing his end in the band it is so obvious how tired and exhausted he is, especially in this set. I am so thankful that he realised that he needed time to himself to heal and to get better

I honestly cry everytime I see this video. Not bcoz I miss them but bcoz of Zayn. He was so weak and sad. It was as though he couldn't wait to get out of there. He was so weak that even when he was keeping the water bottle down, he was struggling. During his high note, I don't know if you guys noticed but he was clutching his abdomen. This is a sign that he was struggling to find his breath for the note and was in pain. We can clearly see his eating disorder showing.

@@nhdee Actually no body knows the exact reason but it is said that , being a solo artist was his dream and the music one direction had , it wasn't Zayn's type. He is more into R&B type . And also his health and the management was one of the reasons. They used to tour one after other , which affected Zayn's Health and it was obviously because of the management.
Watching this in 2022 recalling when this album came out and seeing their faces in this hurts. You can see how emotionally not ok they are. These boys deserved so much more than what their management at the time gave them. They were all broken and it breaks my heart. I’m glad they’re doing well now and maybe one day a reunion (with better management) or just a one time thing will happen.

reading all the comments just made me cry more, they look so sad and teary I felt sorry for them for they worked so hard and I could've been more proud of those lads. During these days were so toxic that they can't be each others back support cause all of them are so tired and empty but still give their presence. I understand Zayn not enjoying this hard times, if he did not leave he could die starving himself. And going on different pathways made them set free and happy. Now that they are growing and more healthier I know all of us Directioners are happy seeing them happy too. Let's just always PRAY for EVERYONES health and happiness.

Well in this video he looks so sad because this was the peak time of when he was suffering from his eating disorder. It started 2014 and got really bad in Nov. of 2014 which was when it was filmed. At 3:07 is when you can really tell because of how heavily he was leaning on the mic/stand when he was singing.

This video should be compulsory viewing to show how much life musical management can suck out of their acts. The fantastic spark and joy that the boys displayed at the start of their careers has disappeared- Louis’ weight loss is very visible and Niall’s sunny smile is missing. Thankfully they’ve survived and we are lucky that we can still see them when they were enjoying the whole experience.
