I think it be neat if we got a remaster of the first two Pikmin games bundled together, given how Pikmin 4 takes inspiration from Pikmin 2, it even brings back the pikmin from 2 and to better explain who Olimar is to Noobs
The real question is, if PNF-404 really is Pangaea Ultima, then how could there possibly be treasures, none the less, in near perfect condition? Pangaea Ultima would take approx. 250million years to complete, while plastic only has around 500 years until decomposition.
@@flamsey it doesn't make sense because the food in the house should have rot maybe left again and maybe colonized many planets but this one with Sparklium was to dangerous but who still here explain the food maybe are about to leave but first make sure planning their clean-up
Another theory: humans goofed up and messed up tge planet...maybe before they died or left for the hey pikmin planet, they trier to leave behind a legacy....the pikmin. They made pikmin and tge onions that could self replicate and make different versions of itself and thats why the onions seem natural but also mechanical.
This is the only thing that makes sense. Since there was a climate crisis, it's natural that humans would try to create something like the pikmin to restore balance in the environment, or as workers that aren't susceptible to the conditions that are dangerous to humans. The pikmin are clearly genetically engineered since they're incapable of surviving on their own.
But if humanity went away, why do some treasures not look old at alll? Like, carved pumpkins alone start rotting within a few days of being carved, and the one olimar finds is completely fresh. Plus i dont know why the humans absolutely have to be extinct, I mean, they chould also just be off screen. How big is the chance they would find a human in some random very small piece of a forest.
@flamsey but that given with the recent trailers for the 4th game has me speculating... 1. Maybe they are dying out right now. Something went wrong, maybe an experiment went wrong that increased radiation levels and messed up the entire planet. And resulted in many creatures being mutated or new species being created. Some being tge plasm wraith and maybe even the pikmin. 2. The plasm wraith did this. It's stated that it could be a being beyond normal comprehension in pikmin 2. Maybe theres more of it out there? Maybe it wiped out much of life on earth and caused the rapid changes? 3. This isn't exactly like our earth. Maybe this earth works widely differently. And things could rapidly change or evolve and humans are just off screen. I mean, we see the stove is on inside the house. So unless the player turns it on or some other enemy or captain, then maybe humans are still alive. Begs the question though...how do they live like this? Wouldn't the governments radars pick up the ships that have been coming and going?
