I realise this video is a bit old now but I just picked a set from Amazon at $25, which appears to be a great deal. I really appreciate the in-depth review.
I am so glad you reviewed these Claire. Some in the community don't understand their purpose so explaining it really helps. All I know is since I got these pencils it has trained my eyes to identify colors better and I am coloring better even with my other pencils because I recognize the undertones better. I also really like how the pencils layer, I can use them with just about any set of pencils. Lori put some unique colors in there like the Orangesicle that I am always grabbing, and the jewel tones are so clear and bright, I really love them best.
Hello Claire, I've been a happy subscriber of your channel years. I got on board for the crazy detailed review. As a detail freak myself. It felt home. I always felt nothing but genuine honesty from your review, you don't have to worry about it. People saying otherwise should questioned their expectations rather then your work. "çaran d'ache pablo"is a good example you disliked them at first, you said it, you explained why. And later on with the same honesty you explained your thoughts on them had change. Not only about the products, you've always been honest about your struggles, how Colouring helped you. You've opened up about real intimate part of your life . Only someone who has experienced being in danger in his own mind can taste the absolute delight of feeling safe again. You can't get loved by everybody but you can choose to focus on those who do 😁. I love to see the colourist you've become. This tutorial rocks! And I'll try a piece of "Colour with Claire" honesty standard. The whole point to this comment is to send you cheers, because every new video is a treat. Thank you.
And this is why you are my most favorite TH-cam colorist. Smart, sweet, informative, and humble♥️ That's what puts you apart and the reason we love you!!
Let me preface this by saying I LOVED the original Star Joy. So much so that I have a brand new set of them as back up because I never wanted to be without them. I admittedly was devastated when I heard they'd be re-done. When I first saw the reveal I honestly wasn't sold. But I got them on lightning deal for $25 and I'll buy any set of 120 pencils for $25. They're amazing. My background is in makeup artistry. But I hate touching peoole and talking to them so I moved to art, portrait artistry. In watercolor, colored pencil and alcohol marker. Now if you at all do portraits, color or drawing, you should buy this set for the skin tones alone. I do wish more deeper and richer skin tones were brought in but mixing oil dominant pencils is very very easy. It's also easy to layer these over watercolor or alcohol marker, or water based markers. The color correcting shades and the skin tones just instantly made sense to me as I'm used to matching foundation shades and picking up on neutral, cool, warm, pink, olive, golden, red and orange undertones in skin and in shades of makeup. This set was helpful. If you like Deli, Star Joy or Markart/Nyoni pencils then get these. They're only around $30 USD on Amazon and well worth it. I do miss the older set and wish that they offered both sets. I'll cherish my last one. But I am a huge fan of these pencils. Oil dominant pencils force me to take my time but I'm a slow colorer/artist anyway. I find layering skintones and any other colors to look si much more natural and realistic. Excellent review, color chart and and the key you colored are all excellent. I've been a subscriber for a long time but I don't watch many coloring videos until lately and I have been loving your channel. Thanks for all the work you do.
It’s lovely to have you back and to see you enjoying oil pencils. What a great system these pencils have for new colourists and at a great price. When we started colouring there were no good, cheap pencil. Now we’re spoiled for choice!
Thank you Claire for the wonderful review and demo. You are a very good teacher. And thanks for the great swatch chart as well. I have the pencils and am really enjoying them.
Beautiful review and demonstration, Claire! Thank you! Just a little FYI in regards to the grays: Lori did her very best to get as much of a spectrum as she could. She is a bit disappointed with not having cool grays, as well. The thing is, Andy really didn’t have any cool grays to choose from. That is the reason why she did include the color that is sort of a slate gray. ☺️
I've had the pencils for a while, but I haven't used them yet. I just swatched them yesterday (too bad, a day before your chart came out!!!) and I love how they are organized. I can tell using these pencils is going to help me understand how to better combine colors in other pencil sets. I can't wait to get started. Thanks for the review and the demonstration.
Claire, thank you for creating this amazing swatch chart! And I was one of the lucky ones that was able to name a color while in production. I suggested "Good Earth" and she used it!
I saw a lot of reviews of these where people didn't understand the color codes on the pencils so I got curious and decided to watch some more in depth reviews, yours happened to be the first one I saw. I've been interested in art since I was in elementary school and I got invited into a special selective art program for students who showed interest in art two years in a row (which was a big deal then bc not everyone got invited back another year). I loved that program and it made me love art a lot and introduced me to new mediums. I'd always loved coloring growing up, especially with colored pencil. I remember sitting at my desk when I was 8 or 9 during the summer and I started my obsession with mythology around that time so I'd often spend the day drawing and coloring mythological creatures, especially dragons which I still love today lol. Because of my years of experience in art and my design classes I took in both middle and high school, I've learned a good amount about color theory and undertone, so it was pretty easy for me to figure out that the color codes must've all been related to that once you showed the colored pencils up close (most of the reviews I saw didn't include close up photos of the pencils in a way where I could see the codes. I think its fabulous that this set included that little detail, reminds me of Copic markers in that sense since they have their color codes. However, I do understand how people that aren't as interested in art and color wouldn't know things like that and find it difficult. There should really be a booklet or something included in the set that explains everything in simple terms so that anyone that picks it up can understand. From what I've seen, this set looks like an excellent budget set of pencils, has a decent range of colors (although I'd prefer more reds and deeper earth tones), and most everyone I've seen review them seems pleased by how they compare to others in their range and even higher end pencils. I've been wanting to expand my range of colors more for adult coloring since I've been doing more of that than art/drawing lately since coloring has always been my favorite part of the project lol. This way I'd also feel more comfortable sharing my pencils with others I might happen to be coloring with (let's just say my coloring buddies I have aren't the nicest on pencils and I trust them as far as I can throw them with my artist grade pencils like my Polychromos, Prismacolors, Pablos and my Luminance pencils. I think this will fit the bill for being in expensive enough I don't feel afraid to share them and nice enough that they're still enjoyable to use. Kalour, Phoenix Color, Castle Art, Black Widow and Brutfuner are the other brands I'm looking at and I think I might pick up a set of one of those as well to help round out the colors missing here. Anyways, sorry for the long message, thank you for this review, I love detailed reviews like this because I'm very meticulous and picky when it comes to art supplies I buy, especially colored pencils.
Thanks for sharing this. I really enjoyed watching you coloring. Your key is so beautiful. I appreciate your sharing your color combos with us.They are really nice. I have several sets of the new Star Joy Gold pencils, and I'm really enjoying them. The colors are beautiful, and the cores are smooth and creamy. I prefer oily pencils, so these are perfect for me.
I bought two set because I loved them so much. If you are coloring with many colors this is the one. Only one downside is the pigment. It is lower than what I normally color with.
Thank you so much for explaining these pencils for me. I had the old starjoys and saw they were changing but thought the price was a little high. Well, the price dropped! Currently $22... and thanks to you I Now understand why they're in the order they are.
just got a set of the Gold edition star joy pencils and I love them. Amazon had them on sale for 26 buck for the 120 pencil tin. I swatched the first tray this morning and I love how smooth these pencils are. I can't wait to try them in my Fairy land coloring book by Anastasia Anemone. Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend have a very blessed day all :)
Your key is simply beautiful! Great tutorial! I have had the pencils for a while. It have not used then much as of yet. Thanks for your chart as it will be a big help
I just got my 120 set of Star Joy Gold Edition pencils and I absolutely love them. They swatched so perfectly and easy with your color chart! Thank you so much for all your hard work, I appreciate it so much!
Thank you Claire for a great review and the tutorial. AND thank you so much for the swatch chart, desperately waiting for this one. Now I can swatch my SJG. I will definitely include the color palette for the key in one of the blank areas so I don't forget it. Please share the colors you used for the fringe. Blessings!!
love these pencils. they have to be the nicest of my budget sets, but I may have an answer to the let down of the selection of greys... I noticed when swatching that all the trios are more tints and tones of the jewel color on the cooler side of the spectrum, she included the warmer greys as stand alone pencils so you can start with those 12 jewel tones and mix with the warmer greys to make the warmer end of the spectrum by blending
Thrilled to see and hear your opinion of these pencils as I saw multiple from Lori, but feel she's a bit biased.😉 THANK YOU, once again, for creating a handy chart that you share for free. Your generosity knows no bounds!💜 (Love your HK key.) Be well and happy colouring!
I have been using some of the lights and shadows things that I’ve learned from you and applying them to markers, watercolors, pencil colors - they have made an amazing difference in my work - which is just for me & mine! Thank you for being so gifted an artist and instructor and most of all for sharing your gift with all of us!!!
I love to hear you talk lol. Thanks for giving lori good reviews she is a good person only trying to help us colorist. You are a good teacher . Thanks for all you do. I enjoy your channel. You are a great artist.!!
Awesome review. I fell in love with your picture when you posted the other day. I had a double page out of kerbys Rosanes book, Fragile World. I started with the original SJ. And I had to wait on the SJG,to finish it. I haven't put the SJG pencils down ever since. Lol. For a buchit pencil you can't beat them. I personally think. I didn't realize the price difference, I'm happy to hear Andy is working on it. Thank you so much for everything! Your awesome!🙏❤🙋♀️
Thank you very much Claire. A recent subscriber. I loved this video. I'm planning my small color pencil collection. I found this video very informative. I'm more confident of adding this brand pencils to the collection I would like to have.
Just found this review of the Pencils that Lori Green curated. I love using these & will soon need another set. I named the color Palamino as I am a Horse lover owned a Palomino mare.
I appreciate this review so much, thank you Claire! I understand the color order now and your chart is SUCH a huge help to me. I am no artist but I just like coloring. I live in Asia and had heard so much about these so I ordered them all the way from Amazon US. It's odd that these are made in Asia but aren't available here.
I absolutely love your tutorials, they’re always well explained. You are an awesome colourist Clarie. Thank You so much for sharing your techniques with us all. Thanks for an awesome review of the Star Joy Gold pencils and for creating the colour swatch chart. Cheers 🥂 from Australia 🇦🇺
Oh I’m so glad you are back! Your tutorials are always TOP notch. Unfortunately these pencils are not available in my country as “budget”, they cost 2x of what the 150 set of Prismacolors, so not much to think about. The YT algorithm is so ruthless, it’s not sending notifications of your uploads 😡. I actually had to straight up look for your channel and I was surprised to see you have been uploading videos! Your chart and eloquent explanation definitely add to this set.
This was one of the most comprehensive reviews, I've seen on these pencils. I'll be passing on budget pencils, this year. I've got a lot of budget pencils I don't like but thankfully I have ALL the high-end pencils. I absolutely love my artist quality pencils and have no where to store anything else.😏😘 Wonderful review,TFS.
Hi Claire, I have the Derwent Drawing Chinese White pencil. I liked it so much, I bought the whole set of 24. First full price Derwent set I owned, and I'm not sorry! Enjoyed your review, and I'm trying to use these more to get to know them properly.
I only own Prismacolor and Polychromos and have been contemplating of getting a set of budget pencils but can't decide which one to buy. Star Joy was not even in my list of options. This review helped. But then - like you said - there's a bit of a catch on availability and where you are. The cost in Amazon AU is like $50 less than Prismacolor's 150 set. I think that's a bit pricey. Will think it over some more but this one has great potential. I like it even more if they're considering to make them open stock.
Hi, I'm in NZ and have alot of budget sets. I can recommend : Brutfuner squares plus the Macaron set, Obos 200, and my faves, Phoenixcolor 100 and Nyoni 120 (same as Markart, and I have 2 sets of these). I buy all mine from Aliexpress, Amazon is just way out of my price range. I have swatched my SJG's, but have not fallen in love with them and I'm struggling to use them atm. Specially when I have other sets I really enjoy.
Another great review Claire . 🙏Amazon Australia also has them very overpriced. Reviews go back to well over a year from the US and it is the same set so I’m interested in knowing if they’ve been around awhile. Your colouring is incredible also. For those buying them it’s so generous of you to give them a free swatch chart.👏🌹
Thank you so much for this review. I finally understand what is the purpose of this set and can make better judgement on whether to get them or not. How would you compare them to Polychromos?
Right now these are on sale on Amazon for 2899 I believe it said for a few days or until they’re sold out my question is this is a fairly new product so why are they liquidating their inventory so quickly
I’d like to get my hands on these but its a bit pricey for now 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 we can get them for a reasonable price int he future! Great video, thank you for all the information ❤️
OMG how did you manage to get these in the UK? They're not available via the official vendor in the UK and every time I've clicked on the US site, it always says 'currently unavailable'.
Lori asked Andy to send me a set, again with no expectation of review but just to see what I thought. I really hope these will be available readily in the UK soon! Unfortunately they're extoritionately priced on Amazon :(
That key you colored was absolutely GORGEOUS!! Where can I get that coloring book? I looked on Amazon US and they have several of her other books but not this one😢I really want to get it! Thank YOU so much for your help ♥️
It is quite a textured card but good for building up layers with harder lead pencils. Are you using enough layers? You could flatten with a burnisher/blender or some mineral spirits x
I was wondering how you reorder single pencils when needed? eg, the black or a red run down to a stump, I can not find a source to order single pencils. How do you get around that? Thanks!
Hi Claire. I'm new to coloring and appreciate your review videos. I've decided to give the Star-Joy Gold pencils a try and would like to use your swatch sheet for them. When I click on the link you've provided it takes me to the home page of the Ko-fi site, not to the page with your swatch sheet. I tried searching by Claire and by Star-Joy, but it isn't coming up. Is there another way to get it?
@@ColourwithClaire Thank you for sharing these charts, the link to your web site, and especially your story. My daughter suffers from both mental illness as well as several chronic physical illnesses. Your story is so inspirational, I sent her the link and called her. After we spoke, she's decided she wants to give coloring a try so I'm buying a set of the Star-Joy Gold pencils for her. I'd also like to get her a coloring book. Can you recommend one that is good for beginners and uses quality paper, yet is interesting to a young woman in her late 20's. It should also be one where you can't make a mistake. I don't want fear of a mistake to hold her back. Thank you again for web site and for being an inspiration!
@alisonwest3142 aww thank you, I hope she is doing okay. I would recommend any of Johanna Basford’s books to start off, if you think she’d like ones with larger spaces to colour, go for Magical Jungle. For teeny spaces, Lost Ocean. For a mixture, either Secret Garden or Enchanted Forest. If you think she’d like to do smaller projects rather than full pages, Small Victories is a great starter xx
I have had my pencils since the very first. My black is down to a nib after coloring a raven and my greens are being used up fast, they definitely don't keep a point.
So far all of mine except the black have kept their point when sharpened, time will tell I suppose but I can only review them based on my experiences so far x
Hi Claire, this video came up in recommended and I've been keeping my eye on these pencils previously. Whilst the price on Amazon UK has come down massively, they are still around £54. Any news on getting these to a similar price as the US?
I have decided to buy these came on TH-cam for some ideas how to use them i do this with any pencils i invest in imagine my surprise I had no idea when i chose these that it came about like this i am a bit gobsmacked lol😃 oh i forgot to add the reason i chose these pencils was the design
I think it is a shame i can't buy them through Amazon to get them to the Netherlands: i don't own a creditcard and not ging to get one just to buy these pencils.
This is brilliant! So realistic and magical! And I’m so sorry that there are teachers out there that are soul crushers! (Not sure if it was you that said the teacher said you were cheating if you drew from a photo… Reference drawings and photos are amazing tools - I truly believe that the great masters would’ve used them if they had the technology available- they seem to me to have been quite the experimenters - one simply has to look to daVinci - never has there been a more forward thinker! I digress but this technique is magical!
If there was so much thought put into the color selection, names and performance (since you said they aren't private labeled but are an original formula) then why on earth would they slap on such an ugly, cheap looking design on the tin? It makes them look like any other inexpensive Chinese no name pencil set and unless you're a fan of the creator you probably won't be interested in getting this set. Someone could have donated their art for the tin and a graphic design student probably would have come up with a beautiful and recognizable cover design for a few bucks. Alright, rant over!
I realise this video is a bit old now but I just picked a set from Amazon at $25, which appears to be a great deal. I really appreciate the in-depth review.

I enjoy these pencils. I love how easy it is to chose color combos. Sometimes you just want to color and not stress over color combos.
And this is why you are my most favorite TH-cam colorist. Smart, sweet, informative, and humble♥️ That's what puts you apart and the reason we love you!!
Thank you Jennifer xx

Wow, your color combinations are perfect. Love it and thank you!
It’s lovely to have you back and to see you enjoying oil pencils. What a great system these pencils have for new colourists and at a great price. When we started colouring there were no good, cheap pencil. Now we’re spoiled for choice!
Wow you colors and finished key look soooo great. I love the depths of those reds as well. They look amazing.
I just ordered them on Amazon US and they are in stock at $33.99.. I really enjoyed the review and the coloring..Thanks for sharing ❤️
Seems like Lori did the best she could with limited options 👍
I SO LOVE your videos and helpful charts, reviews and tutorials. Love your tips and tricks.
I've had the pencils for a while, but I haven't used them yet. I just swatched them yesterday (too bad, a day before your chart came out!!!) and I love how they are organized. I love these pencils, I use them almost exclusively! ( I'm Blue Melody )
Thank you! I got this set for Christmas and wondered what the extra letters were on each pencil. Great idea.
Very nice, Claire! Love your review. Thank you for the swatch chart, very helpful and how gracious 😀 Thank you! 😊
Claire, thank you for creating this amazing swatch chart! And I was one of the lucky ones that was able to name a color while in production. I suggested "Good Earth" and she used it!

just got a set of the Gold edition star joy pencils and I love them. Amazon had them on sale for 26 buck for the 120 pencil tin. I swatched the first tray this morning and I love how smooth these pencils are. I can't wait to try them in my Fairy land coloring book by Anastasia Anemone.
I ordered two sets today. I excited and can't waite to get them and use them.
Thanks Claire for awesome tutorial & most specially the swatch chart 🌹
Absolutely fab review and awesome swatch chart way to go Claire and thank you 💗😁👍👌
Excellent and thoughtful review. Great tutorial as well. Thanks so much! I love this set. So thankful as well for the chart. It will be very helpful.
I lucked out today and got a set on a lightning sale plus a 10% off coupon. It took $8.50 off the price. Thank you for the great review and tutorial.
Wonderful review. Thank you for simplifying things with your helpful color chart. I think I'll be ordering a set.
Thank you for this review. It's exactly what I've been longing for from the looks of it and I just ordered my box!
Thank you Claire for a great review and the tutorial. AND thank you so much for the swatch chart, desperately waiting for this one. Now I can swatch my SJG. Best review of these ever! Great job my friend!
Another Beautiful Picture. The Key Looks Like It Could Be Picked Up.
Thank You For Another Amazing Video
An All Your Help. X
This totally helped me understand the codes and colour layout in the tin.. I couldn't figure it out!

I really love that introduction! I can't wait to try these pencils! But I had to watch a review before buying, of course! Thank you for sharing!
Great video...I ordered these and can not wait to try them! Thanks!
I love to hear you talk lol. Thanks for giving lori good reviews she is a good person only trying to help us colorist. You are a good teacher . Thanks for all you do. I enjoy your channel. You are a great artist.!!
. I had to watch this again. .Happy cocloring xxxx Thank you for your honest review xxxx
I’m using these right now. It isn’t the same as Prisma. They are oil based. Quite lovely.
Oh, I forgot to thank you for the swatch chart. I had been working on one of my own, but now I'll use yours.
Fantastic review and tutorial Claire, the finished key is amazing. Thank you for your honest opinion and for your time .
Thank you for this review and tutorial, Claire, and for making the swatch chart available. 😀💛💜
Thank you Claire, happy subscriber, bought the pencils ❤️
Gorgeous colors; beautiful results. You are so fantastic
Thank you so much!
I love these colors but I do struggle with oil based pencils so not sure if I'll be getting these or not. Thank you for the review 😊
I finally busted mine out, dusted them off and they are really nice
I so have wanted these in the UK.
Thank you very much Claire. A recent subscriber. I loved this video. I'm planning my small color pencil collection. I found this video very informative. I'm more confident of adding this brand pencils to the collection I would like to have.
Glad it was helpful!
Awesome review, as always! I enjoy your content so much, Claire. Thank you so much. ❤️
That is odd!
Aw thanks Kelly that's lovely of you xx
Oh I’m so glad you are back! Your tutorials are always TOP notch. Unfortunately these pencils are not available in my country as “budget”, they cost 2x of what the 150 set of Prismacolors, so not much to think about. The YT algorithm is so ruthless, it’s not sending notifications of your uploads 😡. I actually had to straight up look for your channel and I was surprised to see you have been uploading videos!
Your chart and eloquent explanation definitely add to this set.
Oh no, that's rubbish! I'll have to start asking people to click the bell to be notified xx
Thank you for the review and chart!
Oh 2o2 this is coloured beautifully, just put these on my wish-list 💗💗💗
This was one of the most comprehensive reviews, I've seen on these pencils. I'll be passing on budget pencils, this year. I've got a lot of budget pencils I don't like but thankfully I have ALL the high-end pencils. I absolutely love my artist quality pencils and have no where to store anything else.😏😘 Wonderful review,TFS.
Beautiful work Claire!
Hi Claire, I have the Derwent Drawing Chinese White pencil. I liked it so much, I bought the whole set of 24. First full price Derwent set I owned, and I'm not sorry! Enjoyed your review, and I'm trying to use these more to get to know them properly.
Awesome! I still need to get those pencils xx
Love them!!!
The previous iteration of the pencils, Star-Joy Deli, is the one you're seeing past reviews for xx
@@ColourwithClaire thank you so much because Amazon Au is showing your cover.
@@lo3551 it's like the listing was changed to the new set rather than create a new listing. So all the past reviews remain x
On their way!
Hello, I just got these pencils. I would like to see a tutorial on the whole key if you do one. It is quite striking.
Ohh You are FANTASTIC!!! THANK YOU..👏👏🙏🤟❣
Thank you, you are a great teacher
Great review Claire! Thank you!
I loved the original SJ Star Joy pencils. I wanted so much to love the Gold edition, but I didn’t like them in the least, so I returned them.
Personal preference xx
Wonderful review and tutorial, it was very enjoyable and informative. Thank you so much for the swath chart, very much appreciated! :)
Lori named Blue Melody after me, I've been a follower of hers for 5 years.
Thank you so much for this review. I finally understand what is the purpose of this set and can make better judgement on whether to get them or not. How would you compare them to Polychromos?
They're asking the same lines but definitely not as smooth and good quality xx
Right now these are on sale on Amazon for 2899 I believe it said for a few days or until they’re sold out my question is this is a fairly new product so why are they liquidating their inventory so quickly
I’d like to get my hands on these but its a bit pricey for now 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 we can get them for a reasonable price int he future! Great video, thank you for all the information ❤️
Thank you ❤️
OMG how did you manage to get these in the UK? They're not available via the official vendor in the UK and every time I've clicked on the US site, it always says 'currently unavailable'.
Lori asked Andy to send me a set, again with no expectation of review but just to see what I thought. I really hope these will be available readily in the UK soon! Unfortunately they're extoritionately priced on Amazon :(
I bought these from Amazon Uk for £43 in June 2023 .
That key you colored was absolutely GORGEOUS!! Where can I get that coloring book? I looked on Amazon US and they have several of her other books but not this one😢I really want to get it! Thank YOU so much for your help ♥️
The key also appears in her jewellery box colouring book!
Hi Claire,
I got the Frisk card stock linked here, but I can't blend my Polychromos on it at all. Any advice, or is just too textured?
It is quite a textured card but good for building up layers with harder lead pencils. Are you using enough layers? You could flatten with a burnisher/blender or some mineral spirits x
@@ColourwithClaire I tried mineral spirits today, it helped a bit. Will try more layering, too.
I was wondering how you reorder single pencils when needed? eg, the black or a red run down to a stump, I can not find a source to order single pencils. How do you get around that? Thanks!
I don’t think singles are available, at least I can’t seem to find any xx
@@alisonwest3142 hi, I’ve moved all my charts to my website, have updated the link thank you for letting me know xx

I haven’t heard anything x
Bit Expensive for me at the min
they look good tho
I have just found your channel
have subscribed.
@@debbieporter8610 welcome!
@@ColourwithClaire 😊
I have decided to buy these came on TH-cam for some ideas how to use them i do this with any pencils i invest in imagine my surprise I had no idea when i chose these that it came about like this i am a bit gobsmacked lol😃
oh i forgot to add the reason i chose these pencils was the design
Very good review!😎
I just got a set of Star Joy Gold pencils from Amazon. The box was sealed! But none of the points are sharp! All the points are sqared off!
This is a common manufacturing technique to prevent broken tips in the shipping process
Unfortunately Star-Joy Gold are not available in my country (INDIA) 😭😭😭
I think it is a shame i can't buy them through Amazon to get them to the Netherlands: i don't own a creditcard and not ging to get one just to buy these pencils.
What kind of paper did you print the picture on?
It was Frisk cartridge drawing paper, link in description
Never mind, you answered it!
I sent a few pennies your way!
The browns are lacking 🧐
Agreed
If there was so much thought put into the color selection, names and performance (since you said they aren't private labeled but are an original formula) then why on earth would they slap on such an ugly, cheap looking design on the tin? It makes them look like any other inexpensive Chinese no name pencil set and unless you're a fan of the creator you probably won't be interested in getting this set. Someone could have donated their art for the tin and a graphic design student probably would have come up with a beautiful and recognizable cover design for a few bucks. Alright, rant over!
