- Are you confused about number of chains required to make me yoke for a particular age ? Here's the solution.
In this video tutorial I will give you an easy formula to calculate number of stitches to be made for the yoke of that particular age group.
You can use this same yoke to make Frock, cardigan, sweater, jacket, poncho etc.
I am making this yoke for a Frock that will also be shared soon.

You can use any size hook that is recommended for your yarn. This pattern is all about measurements.
The pattern I am making here is a yoke for a frock. Used 4ply yarn and 3.5mm hook

One question, how much does the stitch increase in each row or stitch? Please explain it.
Depends on the chains you make initially. As this pattern is not number specific, it will change with number of chains ..

Nice work ❤️ But I have a concern, I did 63 chains for the foundation, so I have a total of 60 dc on the first row, then on the next row which is 1dc,1dc, inc, I ended tge row with an increase. Should I remove the extra dc? Thank you so much. 💓

No specific number for this type yoke. See the video tutorial properly, you can easily make yoke for any size . Just make chains and check size . If it fits , go to second row as instructed in tutorial. Thankyou ☺️

Hello mam. You can make chains until 22 to 25 inches. Then you can follow instructions for increase pattern in this video. It will work good . Try to take chains in the multiples of 3+1.
