If Grant can gain 20yds off the tee while keeping his accuracy, then I believe he would probably gain a couple strokes per round. Tig has the distance so he should use it to his advantage instead of missing fairways with a 2 iron. They're both better than I am but after 35 years of golf and playing many tournaments this is just my observation. Keep going guys, I can't wait for 30 days of golf from them.
Tig is usually pretty solid with the 2 iron. Driver is way too erratic.

@@mondoburger4049 Not necessarily because a lot of courses aren't really setup for 325- 350yd tee shot and more often than not at that distance the holes get narrow so your miss with driver is costing you big time!

@@FishingGuru293 not everyone can swing hard and get it over 280 lol. Most people struggle even hitting it 250. Being able to swing that fast IMO is a blessing. Tig should be hitting driver as many times as possible because that’s his edge over most of the playing field. He didn’t get good by hitting long irons to 4 ft. He got good hitting driver and wedges to 4 ft.
Anytime you hit a 2 iron or 4 iron on a driver hole you have to take the opportunity to say “that shot was brought to you by simplisafe”

I'm actually trying to emulate Grant's swing. I think he's got one of the most technically perfect swings I've ever seen, and I've been playing golf for 50 years.
I think the biggest problem with how Micah is criticized for his golf game is he claims and carries himself like he is a pro golfer/scratch. If he carried himself and acted like how he plays, mid single digit handicap player, he wouldn't get criticized anywhere close. Self awareness >

That’s ok Tig I caddied for a Mini tour player started on a handicap tour you actually played a couple tournaments on Fairway Tour my player has shot a 83 come back next day in Major shoot 65 he was a -2.0 handicap it happens to everyone . I agree with the one comment jump back into the mini tour down there while you have the means to do it get yourself Tournament True you have to get your mental matching your skill level that’s all. Love the Video

You tube golf has made slot of people more curious , of what you say the real golfers and real grind . That before the PGA college tour deal 80% of D1 players couldn’t even get a spot playing cause of lack of funds not talent

And he thinks he's got it , he does not hesitate to hit it , swing like there are no consequences for hitting a bad shot . Alot of guys whom are really really good golfers kinda get headcasey , thinking a professional golfer doesn't hit that shot he plays it like this .. or like this . And then 4 iron in the water on a short par4 .

Micah should definitely be doing something about his course management. He is playing safe when he has super wide fairways, laying up into rough or bunkere, being almost always short sided around greens... Honestly I am not surprised that he shoot what he did in the Q with this approach.
I like Micah's new attitude. He feels a lot more relaxed and balanced. Makes the videos more enojayble to watch.

Everyone that watches vids in this space, knows to a man where just about everyone ranks on the distance depth chart. maybe focus on making putts and scoring??
One thing I love about Grant is, he doesn't hold back his game or played down to his competitors level like some do to make that match closer than what it should be. I do like the shot tracer on the drone footage. I am an older guy with not so good vision and it helps see the ball, without it I do not think I would see it as always happens with drone footage. Thanks for the efforts and enjoy your videos

Tig doesn’t trust his driver period. I used to hit a 1 iron miles years ago but it eventually hurt me by not hitting driver enough. It takes some trust out of it whether he realizes it or not. Driver hit well is the way to go. Creates confidence all around.
