I guess I'm just not feeling the safety of the foot pegs/door-stops. The axle-pin actuators weren't designed to withstand "constant" vibrating and/or "reverse" heavy pressures. Nice creative thinking though 😉
Thanks for the feedback. :) anyway, I just thought it can support lighter load while kids are sitting. Been using it since the time I built and seems pretty sturdy. Will keep you posted if it gives up. Doing some safety inspection before each ride.
Thanks for the question, I am not sure though. You may get a sense of it when you build it and try. The aluminum bars are pretty strong. Not sure about the foot pegs, but definitely you can find a better alternative upon trial and error.
