I think the hate speech label only detracts / distracts from the conversation. Ok. So if that's true, why not really the community to confront him on this issue? Making a random TH-cam comment does nothing but throw your opinion out into the void. If this is a big problem that's been happening a lot and is as hypocritical as you say, then why not call him out on it? It's not exactly hard, especially if you can get other people to your side. We live an age on TH-cam where expose videos are basically the trend so why don't you do that too. If Craig does bad, I'd like to know about it

I think the hate speech label only detracts / distracts from the conversation. The real line he crossed IMO is that refusing to denounce violence acts, is effectively to endorse or incite further violence. Its no hypocrisy to defend freedom of speech, denounce cancel culture as it pertains to protected speech, but also to endorse that the line in the sand you shall not cross sits here at the edge of incitement.
As Italian myself, I can't imagine nothing better than tourists leaving paper tables around a nice square, like piazza del duomo.. 😑
