This must be the Great unforgettable Concert of 1980's or so! Recollecting the days of my very young age in Bombay when I had a chance to listen such Celestial Music! I am doubtful whether such dedicated Artists will emerge in future! Right now; however; I visit occassionally Mumbai I am not getting Chance to attend such Concerts! ❤❤ Ly Heart touching moments of those days ie 1965 to 1195!! Golden days and Very Golden memories of those days! Fantastically played Rag Des; Sohoni & Kalavati!! Immortal Music!!
I saw him at a concert in 1998 for the dalai lamas birthday at his palace. We climbed up into a wall and literally were able to look down over the three musicians and watched his hands dance and play. So lucky to have heard him play and see him ❤ beautiful musician a legend.
A superb celebration of the virtuoso of the Santoor from the just-departed legend who brought the relatively unknown Santoor out of obscurity into the musical limelight. A matchless delight.
Some people never leave us they live with us , great legends like Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma lives on, as long as his music remains and whenever you see a santoor , your thoughts come together in confluence and see Shiv in each instrument. Nevertheless he was a godly figure and a true saint in what he did in his one lifetime making a ledge towards tranquility with his santoor. I will never bid farewell to this great master because he lives on and has become one with the nada bramha
