Last year, I struggled a lot with traumas from the past. I thought that pretending these traumas did not exist was the solution. I thought I was strong enough to get through it on my own. At the beginning of 2024, I found a therapist and talking to her has been liberating. I feel so much better now. Maggie, please do what it's best for you. Sending warmest hugs to you !!! 💝
Maggie, we are rooting for you! please take time for yourself and do things specifically for you. take yourself on a walk, go get ice cream, go watch the sunset. we all go through tough times and i know you will figure it all out soon enough. it’s so easy for those to judge who are not living in your shoes. maybe see if there is something that can help (therapy, writing it out, talking to Emma/your mom). love you 🩷
I’m only 17 mins into the vlog and it is already so good! It reminds me of an elevated version of your 2018-2019 vlogs, super chatty and you telling us every single thought that comes to mind haha. Love hearing the internal dialogue
This too shall pass Maggie!! It always does! You built such a beautiful community and when you get anxious about opening up/ sharing online (not that you are obligated to) think of them, not anyone else! Do what feels right ❤ we love you!!
I appreciate you being so open and vulnerable it’s never easy. I’ve watched your videos since 2018 and I’ve always loved how honest and open you are. You are so inspiring you have helped me in so many ways it’s crazy ❤️ take care of yourself and do what makes you happy x
Maggie I've been watching your videos for years. The one thing I've realized about content creators is, the more you keep things bottled up inside, the harder it is to talk about it. I think we are all adults here. I to have had anxiety for years, however. I think it's so much harder when you put your life online. It's easy for me to say don't worry about what people think. But, I get it. With that said. Adults that care about you. We do notice when things are different with you. People come and go out of our lives. Some things are not meant to be. That's the way I look at life. We are all the same in that respect. I hope you realize, It's okay.💕
Maggie! please try therapy! it takes time to find someone you vibe with but it's worth it. therapy has changed my life. I had EDs, OCD, depression, anxiety, stomach issues, all the things. my therapist got me to realize I was abused during my childhood. I had only high achieving and controlling people around me, and that was the root cause of all of my pain. once I cut everyone out who was toxic, even my own parents, I could finally be myself and heal. therapists show you how to love yourself fully by creating healthy boundaries and learning to not beat yourself up. I am about to turn 28 and am so glad I started my healing journey when I did. wishing you all the best❤️ you got this
Sorry to hear you are going through a tough time. You aren't alone, life can be so hard sometimes. I hope you get through this and emerge an even stronger person!
Hi Maggie, I adore your videos and I know it can be scary to be vulnerable on the internet, but we would love to see the raw/real Maggie. Us viewers are craving for content creators that are relatable and honest. I know you don’t have a perfect life, but it can seem like it through your TH-cam videos, and us viewers just have a hard time relating to it. We are all just girlies in our 20s who are trying to figure sh*t out, and we are here to support you 🤍
Maggie thank you for opening up, I’m sure you have reached many out there, who are feeling this way as well, this too shall pass and there is nothing wrong with discussing Mental Health combined with therapy is a win in my opinion THANK YOU!!!❤
You are amazing Maggie ❤ I have struggled with bad anxiety and I relate to this video so much because talking about mental health is so important. It’s just as important as physical health. Take care of yourself Maggie and happy (almost) summer.
Hi Maggie, culinary grad here. About the chicken pound it so the thickness is even and it will cook evenly. You can tell if it’s done if you poke it gently and if it’s firm its done but if it bounces back it needs more time. I hope this helps. I know you didnt ask but I thought I’d share so it’s easier next time. Don’t be afraid to cook chicken and the meal looked really good btw!
sending so much love ❤ you always make me feel better and i’ve been watching for the last 4 years (17 then and now i’m 21 :) i’ve literally grown up watching you and you inspire me so much!!
Maggie, thanks for opening up and sharing your journey with us. It’s always okay to ask for help. It’s not easy, but it’s worse to go through tough times alone. I’ve seen a therapist on and off over the past 5 years & currently see one now. Sending love from NYC 🤍
I don’t usually comment but your vulnerability is incredible Maggie! Where you’re at mental health wise is so relatable and we’re always rooting for you! If you’re able to share details of the retreat you’re looking into that would be amazing 🤍
Maggie, my sister and I are always rooting for you! Your vlogs bring me so much peace and inspiration. And you do not owe us any information about your personal life. I’ll watch if you share or not! Protect yourself and keep boundaries if you feel happier🤍
My ex boyfriend and I broke up around the possible timeframe of when you and Tyler broke up. At the time, I was upset w you for not opening up about it and making it seem like everything was okay. Now, I completely recognize the need to keep things private and not share certain things online. You are completely valid in feeling down and anxious (regardless of why) and do not owe ANYONE the details. Thinking of you and praying for peace and happiness :)
You are my comfort creator and I get so happy everytime you upload! I completely relate to the anxiety and especially the driving anxiety I experienced something very similar. Thanks for opening up its like chatting to a best friend ❤
Aw Maggie thank you for sharing, it’s okay to not be okay. Take time, do things that’s make you feel good. I like to go for walks and be in the sun. I also like to remind myself that it will be okay, and that it could be so much worse, so what I’m feeling now will pass by. Sending you love 🩷
in the grand scheme of life, pain and emotions are necessary, they help us process what we value. that’s the beauty of human life, when emotions come feel them, let them have their time, but don’t give them permission to linger when their time passes, you steward them!
I’ve honestly had a rough 2-3 years too, especially when it comes to the anxiety about being perceived. Something I have to remind myself is that I know who I am, and I trust that the support system I have built will tell me if I am acting poorly and not being myself. I’ve also had to learn that others opinions and perceptions of me are none of my business if I don’t know them personally (and I know I didn’t do anything to them) . Of course, that is so much easier said than done especially because I don’t have a public life like you. Because social media is your job, maybe set some boundaries with yourself. Only take advice and criticism from people you would go to for advice and respect their opinion (whether or not they agree with you). Also, if you need to turn off the comments on TH-cam and limit them on all of your social media-do that too! Honestly, being an influencer seems so fun but I can see how the constant opinions and comments from everyone could drive you nuts! I feel like you mention 2018/2019 a lot and you want to get back to your old self. But embracing who you are now, all the triumphs you’ve faced and lessons you learned is so much more valuable than dwelling and comparing yourself to past versions of yourself. Being in your 20s is so hard so please give yourself some grace. We’re all just skating through life and hoping for the best 🤍
Hi Maggie! Love your vlogs and appreciate your personality, style, and sense of humor. You and Graydon are kind spirits. Keep positive as you are a light to so many who look up to you. We are always pulling for you and we believe the best in you and yours. Yours in friendship, a loyal viewer
Don’t get too down on the chicken ! Baking it at first can be tricky. Me personally the temperature will vary on the oven you have. If 400 isn’t enough try 425 and bake it for 30-35 min. That combo also works for me for a perfect cook ❤️
Maggie we love you so much! Just remember there will always be lows in life so you can really appreciate the highs! Life is crazy like that. You’re never alone and we are here to support you whether you choose to share or not! Keep on pushing mags - you will come out the other side ❤❤
Hey Maggie! Easy solution for chicken which will give you peace of mind is buying a food thermometer. They’re everywhere on Amazon. You would just temp the thickest part of the meat, and when it reads 165 Fahrenheit, it’s cooked. I can’t live without mine.
Hi Maggie - I have watched your videos since 2016. I am sorry you’re going through this! Growth is uncomfortable! Do what is best for you and be yourself. Haters hate themselves and take it out on others. No sense in trying to please everyone. Thank you for being vulnerable and authentic. 😊
Hey Maggie- I work in the mental health space and highly recommend you look into EMDR therapy. It really helps with healing trauma. Also, keep moving your body and prioritize your workouts that make you feel good & bring you happiness. Even better if you move with others on days you feel you need support and community. Sending you a big hug. You got this girl. xo
Hey Maggie. Forgive my double posting but wanted to share a premonition that I just had for you. Whatever was bothering you is being resolved. You are going to get what you both want and need. Keep believing sister.
Thank you for your vulnerability. We are here for you, Maggie! The internet can be cruel. Yes you chose to share your life but that does not entitle others to give unsolicited opinions. Better days are ahead!
Maggie, you are doing a great job: helping others . Thank you so much, because I know your openness helps me ! Maggie, don’t think I’m crazy or weird, but I see a few orbs in your room near the end of this video. That’s a good thing 🥰🥰🥰
Talking about things like this makes you more relatable and I think the hate comments would decrease if you showed more real stuff. A lot of your life isn't attainable for people your age, it becomes hard to watch and relate to. Be yourself
We love you! ❤ sending all the positive vibes your way. It’s good to open up. It’s ok to be scared to do it too. Just know the ones who care are rooting for you. ❤
Maggie, we're human, and mental health awareness is very important. I think we all go through things some more, some less. But it's fair to say that we are allowed to feel these things as long as we address them and take the appropriate steps to take care of ourselves. I know it's not easy to speak about those things on social media. But that's why it's so important to avoid the negative comments bc in reality-based they are cruel people in this world, unfortunately more on social media. Take care of YOU! THAT'S ALL THAT MATTERS! With that being said, don't let other's opinions stop you from speaking your truth. What we go through and how we feel is important and its part of who we are. LOVE YA
Maggie make sure the one sided rash isn’t shingles! I would see your primary, shingles can come when you’re run down and stressed. Remember you help so many of us on here thank you for always sharing your life with us 🫶🏻
omg I totally understand about chicken, if you get a meat thermometer it gives you peace of mind that it’s cooked. the first piece you showed was really thick which is why it didn’t cook all the way through
Hi Maggie, I feel like i’ve been going through something similar. i have been thinking a lot about my past traumas a lot and things i haven’t thought about in a long time and it’s been affecting me. I took that as a sign that I am not healed so I started journaling more and reading books to help me heal. I’ve been reading the book called “a gentle reminder” by bianca sparacino. It has helped me a lot. I wish you the best and hope this storm in your life passes soon 🫶🏼
Get a thermapen! It’s an instant read thermometwre and you can check the interior and if it’s 160/165 you’re good to go. Also I usually pound mine out or butterfly them so they’re thinner
Maggie I think by not sharing you are not giving your viewers the opportunity to support you and give you encouragement. Even if there are 1 or 2 comments criticizing there will be many more supporting you! Unfortunately being on social media/youtube you’ll never be able to avoid the judgment and negativity.
She doesn't owe anyone anything! Keeping thing private is better and it's up to her.. if you want to support her you can still do so without knowing every little detail about her personal life
I don’t think she needs to share the details of her personal life at all. I was just responding to her saying that sharing gives her anxiety as she has mentioned this multiple times before so clearly it’s something that bothers her.
@@abbi3367 If it bothers her she can talk to her friends/ family/ therapist, i doubt sharing what bothers her to people on the internet will make her feel better cause as she said people can hold it against her or whatever
I agree she used to share a lot. But ever since Emma stopped vlogging often, she’s also shared way less. And I really loved Maggie because she’s always been my comfort vlogger. But I understand she’s also just human.
Maggie you should get a Meater!!!!! It’s a meat thermometer that Bluetooth connects to your phone and perfectly cooks your meat to the internal and external temperature that is safe. It seriously makes the best meat ever! Maybe that will help with your chicken fear
I also highly recommend the book “healing through words” by Rupi Kaur. It’s a journal that helps us heal trauma of all kinds. It’s helped me immensely.
it may not be sustainable but hear me out.. block anyone that sends hate your way. love your content and i always look forward to your posts across all of your platforms
Hi maggie i have anxiety and sometimes depression too, i just wish i could talk to you everyday and just you know talk about our situations and give advices to each other. And yes, it will make you really over think. Love you maggie i hope you can visit moalboal cebu Philippines for you to unwind and relax because we have beautiful beaches here for you to enjoy.
Hi Maggie! I used to get an anxiety rash that was similar to that on my neck! Our anxiety can manifest in so many different physical ways! Maybe that could be what yours is too? I hope you feel better! Loved the video and how open you were!
Wow Wow Maggie what a perfect timing and I am so so so grateful to watch this vlog you are my inspiration and I wish you have a beautiful weekend🥹🥹🥹♥️♥️
The top of that chicken was definitely undercooked!! Throw it on a skillet next time and cook just that side! That’s why I never bake chicken because it doesn’t cook evenly because the oven cooks from underneath the chicken
I commend you for sharing. your strength is admirable! just continue being you try not worry about what others are thinking! And therapy has literally changed my life you should definitely try to connect with a therapist who specializes in inner child work❤
hi maggie! im a therapist, and im curious, what’s the fear behind sharing/being vulnerable in your videos? is it fear of judgement? rejection? and where do u think that comes from?
I think a retreat and a therapist would be very beneficial. I can't imagine living a life where you are constantly judged and criticized. I think having a professional to talk to about these things would be great. Sharing your life with so many people is not an easy thing to do. Wishing you all the best
MAGGIE! I’m a cancer rising, leo moon, cap sun and generator I’m also 28 dealing with Saturn return I feel like we are very similar especially our transits astrologically right now. You would LOVE to be magnetic by Lacey Phillips. Listen to the podcast and do a little research it’s amazing you can learn to reprogram your childhood trauma and learn how to manifest. It’s back by neuroscience and psychology
for chicken maggie, i always do 400 ,sometimes 375 for like 25 mins. BUT, just buy a thermometer! I was so anal about chicken, and i use to cut it too, but like once you cut it, all the juices come out and it gets dry! Just get the thermometer, internal temp just needs to be 165. For my steaks, i like internal temp of 140/145. Fish is 145. Honestly, my meat always comes out perfect everytime!
Hi! i just want you to know im praying for you and Jesus really helps me and turning to my faith and church when i feel this way. love you so much and so does He ❤️
It’s really not though. Being able to be vulnerable with others is actually crucial to your mental health. She was literally describing the negative impact becoming closed off has had on her (it’s a vicious circle). Of course, you’ll also need to test the waters to see who is open to your vulnerability. It’s usually only the people who are not comfortable with vulnerability who respond in toxic ways. And of course, I’m not saying people necessarily need to put that all out on the internet, but at least in their personal lives.
You are a sweet and good soul. ❤️ Like you said, we all have bad days, I for example really understand what you are saying about being so in your head and caring about what people are gonna think of you or perceive you like. It’s exhausting. Our mind is our own enemy. Social media too, I’ve found that the less I scroll mindlessly through Instagram the happier and more present I feel. I actually deleted Tiktok too. Remember, you are loved, God loves you. I know some people don’t want to hear about Jesus, but he has helped me so much with my mental health, with my internal damaging thoughts. Of course some days I “relapse” but I know I’m not alone and that Someone is willing to take all of my suffering from me. I pray for my anxiety to get away, and he gives me the strength and helps my mind be peaceful. In a world full of dopamine, God gives peace, He gives calmness, He gives happiness. He wants us to be happy and enjoy the gift of life !! Maggie I’ll pray for you and I encourage you you pray to Him to help you with your mental health. Jesus died in the cross for all of us, so of course he’s gonna help you with your anxiety! He loves you so much❤️❤️ I hope you feel better, you deserve it.
I Love you so much!❤ I hope you will feel better soon! thank you for sharing your feelings! :) it okay to not be okay! and it helps to cry and take all the stress out, we cant be strong all the time! share whatever you feel comfterable sharing! i loved the haul, all the clothes are so beautiful and look good on you!💗💗 xoxoo Adva 😘💋😘💋😘💋😘💋
Hi Maggie! I love you 🫶🏽🤍 I truly appreciate you mentioning your feelings and mental health state. That being said, I’d like to add that I understand and I dare say, I’ve never related to a content creator as I have with you today. I recently heard a podcast from Sami Clarke & Sami Spalter discussing the nervous system and childhood traumas and these traumas/feelings coming up as an adult. I thinks it’s absolutely worth a listen. I say this because you and I share common denominators in our day-to-day life being the “older sister” among other things. But of all the comments, I hope you read mine🤍And I hope this podcast can help you because you are certainly not alone. We just need a little help and guidance sometimes. I think the Transform podcast; “Regulating your Nervous System, Somatic Healing & Dealing with Trauma with Sarah Baldwin” is a good place to start. So much love and positivity from your friend in Chicago 🌬️🫶🏽🤍
From one Scorpio to another, talking about emotions is something I avoid but i highly recommend getting a therapist Maggie. It could be really Helpful.
Maggie! I also use acne med from face reality and after almost a year of using it, it started to give me “hot spots” especially on my neck and the perimeter of my face. I quit using it and it went away but the itchyness was so bad!
Maggie, as a Christian watching your videos, some of the dreams you were talking about definitely sound like they could be dreams from the Lord! Not sure if you've ever jotted them down before, but journaling about them and seeing if they align with scripture could be fruitful!
Omg I just commented on her post talking about Jesus!! I told her how God helped me through my anxiety and mental health. He literally changes lives. He loves us all so much I wish everyone got to experience His love.
I highly recommend the book called The 100 Most Important Bible Verses for Dealing with Anxiety and Fear. I had a baby in March of 2023 and struggled so much with depression and anxiety. Its no joke. But with Jesus you can get through anything.😊♥️
Last year, I struggled a lot with traumas from the past.

omg I totally understand about chicken, if you get a meat thermometer it gives you peace of mind that it’s cooked. the first piece you showed was really thick which is why it didn’t cook all the way through
Hi Maggie, I feel like i’ve been going through something similar. i have been thinking a lot about my past traumas a lot and things i haven’t thought about in a long time and it’s been affecting me. I took that as a sign that I am not healed so I started journaling more and reading books to help me heal. I’ve been reading the book called “a gentle reminder” by bianca sparacino. It has helped me a lot. I wish you the best and hope this storm in your life passes soon 🫶🏼
Stay strong Maggie! Love you ! ❤️
Love you 💕
Hi Maggie! Sending you peace ☮️🩷 take time to do what’s best for you, we support you and know you can get through this!
Maggie, you’re right, people should be kinder to each other 🤗🤗🤗
Get a thermapen! It’s an instant read thermometwre and you can check the interior and if it’s 160/165 you’re good to go. Also I usually pound mine out or butterfly them so they’re thinner
Sending you so much love and healing! 🫶🏻🫶🏻
Sending you lots of love Maggie! Brighter times are ahead, just take it day by day
Maggie I think by not sharing you are not giving your viewers the opportunity to support you and give you encouragement.
@@NonamelmhI don’t think you get the point and you never will because you’re so busy being a unsolicited Karen to a girl that meant no harm
I really needed a Maggie vlog today! 🤍🤍🤍
Maggie you should get a Meater!!!!! It’s a meat thermometer that Bluetooth connects to your phone and perfectly cooks your meat to the internal and external temperature that is safe. It seriously makes the best meat ever! Maybe that will help with your chicken fear
Are you still with your boyfriend ?
You are such a sweetheart Maggie, sending you huge hug 💕
I also highly recommend the book “healing through words” by Rupi Kaur. It’s a journal that helps us heal trauma of all kinds. It’s helped me immensely.
The only she needs is to read the Bible, there is nothing more comforting to the soul than read the Psalms.
it may not be sustainable but hear me out.. block anyone that sends hate your way. love your content and i always look forward to your posts across all of your platforms
I hope you feel better.❤
Hi maggie i have anxiety and sometimes depression too, i just wish i could talk to you everyday and just you know talk about our situations and give advices to each other. And yes, it will make you really over think. Love you maggie i hope you can visit moalboal cebu Philippines for you to unwind and relax because we have beautiful beaches here for you to enjoy.
For the chicken Maggie you can cut it in half so that it cooks better or you can sear it in a pan first and then cook it in the oven!
Everyone deals with some type of mental health issues at some point in life…therapy can really help so much
Hi Maggie! I used to get an anxiety rash that was similar to that on my neck! Our anxiety can manifest in so many different physical ways! Maybe that could be what yours is too? I hope you feel better! Loved the video and how open you were!
love your vlogs so much! 🤍
i’ve been feeling this exact same way too thanks for sharing!! 🥺
You’re not alone 💕 sending love your way xxx
Thank you for sharing how you feel. Take care Maggie
Thank you! You too💕
Maggie I do chicken for like 26 minutes in the oven at 400!! That looked raw to me mama ily
And therapy has literally changed my life you should definitely try to connect with a therapist who specializes in inner child work❤
all emotions are valid;) Sending so much love
💕
I appreciate your vlogs so much and hope you can find some therapy and peace in your life.
get a meat thermometer so you can ensure your chicken is fully cooked! i’m also afraid of cooking chicken lol
Your rash could be from your acrylics! I had a very similar reaction on my face and it was from my nails. As soon as I got them off, rash went away
I don’t have acrylics! They’re my natural nails
I hope you feel better soon ❤
Thank you 💕
Maggie !!! This length of hair is so slay on you
I sometimes have premonitions, thinking of something before it happens but it’s always been just small things thankfully
I would have done the chicken at 375 for like 45 minutes. 20 minutes seems too short
hi maggie! im a therapist, and im curious, what’s the fear behind sharing/being vulnerable in your videos? is it fear of judgement? rejection? and where do u think that comes from?
I’ll only eat chicken if i use a meat thermometer!!! Get one it will change your life when you cook chicken
I think a retreat and a therapist would be very beneficial. I can't imagine living a life where you are constantly judged and criticized. I think having a professional to talk to about these things would be great. Sharing your life with so many people is not an easy thing to do. Wishing you all the best
Maggie you're perfect thank you for sharing your journey
Hi! i just want you to know im praying for you and Jesus really helps me and turning to my faith and church when i feel this way. love you so much and so does He ❤️
sending love to you Maggie❤, I'll keep you in my prayers.
Vulnerability with others is overrated. 💕 you have yourself. Hard times make you strong.
Like you said, we all have bad days, I for example really understand what you are saying about being so in your head and caring about what people are gonna think of you or perceive you like.
He loves you so much❤️❤️
I hope you feel better, you deserve it.
I Love you so much!❤
I hope you will feel better soon! thank you for sharing your feelings! :)
it okay to not be okay! and it helps to cry and take all the stress out, we cant be strong all the time!
share whatever you feel comfterable sharing!
i loved the haul, all the clothes are so beautiful and look good on you!💗💗
xoxoo Adva 😘💋😘💋😘💋😘💋
I Promise I Will Make You So Much Happier. You Will Have Something Soon That Will Give You Joy. Thank You 😊
Hi Maggie ❤ I’m from Arizona and we have amazing retreats here I think you would love they are super nice
@@nuricortes❤
sending love, love u & your vlogs
That chicken was raw. You needed to cook it longer as it is thick.
I highly recommend the book called The 100 Most Important Bible Verses for Dealing with Anxiety and Fear. I had a baby in March of 2023 and struggled so much with depression and anxiety. Its no joke. But with Jesus you can get through anything.😊♥️
Or actual therapy.
@@NatalieMarie917yes therapy can be good as well.
U raised me xo
Your black sports bra is so cute!! Where from?:) loved this vlog!!
Something is definitely in the air these days - I hope it passes soon and we all can heal from whatever struggles we are facing rn❤️🩹🧿💝
