Enjoyed watching. That was great~ wonderful creation, Jan, even down to the scraps. You fought hard for that binding. :-) Interesting, unique and historical. Love it. I believe the difference in jute and hemp is absorption and strength with Hemp being the stronger of the two. They are extremely similar. I did not hear what kind of book your friend wants you to create for the middle school teacher. Is it for the kids to write in? Sounds like an interesting challenge. Glad you had a wonderful holiday. I was happy with all of my children being together again. That really is the most important aspect of my life~ family. Thank you for sharing this process.
