  • This video, remembering and honoring long-time Moody Radio pastor Don Cole, was shown on Monday night of Moody Bible Institute's Founder's Week 2013. Don Cole hosted Moody Radio's Open Line program for many years, answering listeners' questions and earning the title "the people's pastor" from those whom he served.

I love you Pastor Cole and miss you dearly , it is such a tragedy tgat Moody Bible will not replay any of your thousands of Broadcasts tgat blessed multitudes of people.
They play everyone else’s on their channel but for some reason not Don Cole’s
    Very saddening ..
Just think of the people , the multitudes he could be still blessing, especially in our crazy mixed upside down world today it’s just not right, nor is it fair. Whoever made this policy should be fired if you asked me because I have no clue what they did I guess shame shame. Rest in peace dear brother God bless your soul along with your precious wife Naomi. See you in heaven.

I had the privilege of going to his church shortly after I became a Christian. His influence on me has been long remembered. I knew his son and once ate Sunday dinner with them at his home. Such a fine Christian family. Really enjoyed his teaching in the church and on the radio. Listening to his voice on this TH-cam remembrance brought back many good memories.

Wow! I was doing my devotions this morning and all of a sudden, Pastor Don Cole came to my mind. I loved listening to him on KMBI through the years. Learned a lot from his answers to peoples questions. What a special man he was.

I was preparing this week's message today, and had a thought... "I wonder what Pastor Cole would have said?" Moody Radio in a way was my Bible College, every night for years on WRMB in Boynton Beach, Florida... I would listen to Swindoll, MacArthur and Stanley... and then Open Line with Don Cole. He was the kind of pastor I wanted to be... and he played a part in preparing me to be one. I "Googled" his name just to see if he ever wrote on the passage... and found he's gone home. I wept.

Biblical common sense and a peace that surpasses all understanding ! An amazing man we listened too while driving from my childhood home in Spring Lake / Maranatha Conference Center, on most weekends, then back to our home in Lansing / jobs in government in the Michigan legislature ! Donald surely had Holy Ghost octane !

All the GODLY TEACHERS of the WORD OF GOD have gone on to be with THE LORD OUR SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST.
There are very few men of God left in this world who actually teach and preach God’s Word as it should be taught.

Every time I listened to this wonderful man I never heard him turn a page. He had biblical answers on the tip of his tongue. He is missed. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

Too bad you never saved his radio show. What a waste. I listened for over twenty years and can't find anything he did. It's like you erased him from your records.
