I’m just a cosmetology student that learns more about natural hair from professionals like you than in my books! I’m not African-American, but am drawn to how amazing natural hair is and how it truly needs specific care. When we had two A/A salon owners visit our school to teach us weaving techniques, I asked one of them how she learned all she was demonstrating. “Our books don’t show us this.” She told me she learned by watching TH-cam. Use bobby pins as you wrap your hair and remove them as you go. That is how my granny taught me and I have, I mean had before I cut it, long and thick hair. Wrapping your hair secures the style and protects your hair as well!!!
