While it's never explicitly stated what chapter The Silver Knight belonged to, I love the allusions of him being a Grey Knight; a man so incorruptible that only in the pure unfiltered presence of a Chaos God themselves did his will falter
Gotta respect the mammoth silver balls on him though for looking at what amounts to Hell itself, with Satan sitting in the middle, and being like "Yeah I could take him"

@@darthjekyll3648 Yeah, the only thing dude's ever thinks about is pure rage and bloodshed elevated to extremes no mortal man could ever comprehend or perheaps even survive feeling inside. It's like he doesn't even try not to to think about anything else that doesn't involve violence. It just comes naturally to him at this point. I personally doubt he'd be temped by anything Slaneesh could throw at him.
Makes me wonder what would The Doom Slayer's relationship with Khorne would be, though.
@LEMME TELL YOU SUMTHIN No he's not, unless if the criteria of Khorn's spells related to his numbers and incantations are affecting Doom Slayer, as Doom Slayer's sheer will and focus also ignores concept of honourable combat too, which Khorn's also hates all while The Dark Lord in Doom Eternal DLC is more powerful than the 4 chaos gods despite the gameplay showcase (but then again, Warhammer 40K more than often have issues with translating lore into gameplay either so Doom Eternal still takes the cake)
And I don't buy Warhammer 40K fanboys' claims that chaos gods are "outerversal" or some bs like that when the 3 chaos gods were originally byproducts of War in Heaven which was still only milky-way galactic in scale, even Khorne can't conquer Terra a couple of times or so, chaos gods and their powers are way overrated

This is my favorite Grey Knight story. The greatest of wills broken only by the purity and innocence of Chaos.

This story really reminds me that for how much Slaanesh gets portrayed as a god of hedonism they’re really all about excess. It wasn’t an excess of greed, or pleasure, or pride that made the knight fall, it was an excess of purity and innocence that reached out to him and made him kneel.

It could be a grey knight, it could be a random guy from a no name chapter, it could be a person who wasn't from any chapter at all, and was actually an iron warrior. There's always the possibility it was a xenos, or a non aligned human.
Grey Knights don’t kill civilians they kill heretics, mutants, and traitors. If your saying someone they killed is a civilian then the Inquisition is going to need to have some words for you.

He actually hates chaos and never really fell like the other traitor Primarchs. He rekted Dorn's bois and dipped. There's also the custodes, grey knights (The marine in this story is not a grey knight since it is canon they can't fall to chaos and none have to this day), Omegon, the champions of the other chaos gods, necrons, Tyranids, various gods, The Emperor, Vulcan etc. You get my point.
I remember first reading this on 1d4chan, its a great read. Shows that Slaanesh is the God of excess and hedonism in all things rather then just BDSM.

I don't think you understand what a Bloodthirster's axe is, but what he did should be impossible. And he wields it, he is literally carrying a weapon imbued with Khorne's power but without the corrupting properties. He purified something corrupted personally by Khorne himself, you understand? On a more meta note, if they did make it where you just have completely uncoruptable humans in the setting, to the point where even the chaos gods walking up and blasting them with chaos corruption didnt fuck them up, then they would have effectively ruined the setting and chaos would be a literal joke of a villain

And any title given to it like "Dark Prince" or "She Who Thirsts" is just that: A title or a "nickname" given by mortals to try to represent it in some form or another.

I was gonna talk about how the Grey Knight Resisiting the Temptations and Pleasures and Passions of Slaanessh, is a neat bit of classical story telling, like old Christian Stories, and how the struggle can relate to our own life and how tough it can be to battle our Temptations, even those that don't seem so bad, just to fall short of Greatness.
But Femboy kek
