These last few weeks I was kinda busy and didn't have much time to upload stuff sadly. I was also a bit too invested in the new Elden Ring DLC expansion haha But I'm back now!
I just realized that learning to use the HitBox or SmashBox coming from a controller or stick requires significant "Think-Ahead" for directionals... Bryan main
In my opinion, it becomes a lot easier if you bind your spacebar key to the "up" direction. This way, I can use my left middle and pointer fingers to press d, df, f (QCF) and then I press the space bar with my right thumb. It makes the technique very easy and not tiring at all for your fingers. However, always listen to your own body. if it feels weird or better in a different way, feel free to experiment with your own keybinds. Good luck man!
@@Bassium08 Yeah, I use my right hand a lot for movement on leverless. Mostly, I use my thumb for pressing up, sidestepping, sidewalking, or wavedashing. Otherwise I use my right pointer finger to take advantage of SOCD for KBD. My left hand is a bit sensitive to too many fast motions, so spreading the work equally between my hands helps a lot with reducing the strain.
Why? It’s not like the controller makes any difference to TJU. It’s literally taunt then FB2, it’s the timing of the FB2 that difficult and that has nothing to do with the controller.
@@user-bs6ln3ns4u I'm using both my hands for movement, because it puts less stress on my left hand and it just feels better to me (had a little injury with my left hand a few years ago, thats why less stress is important for me)
I'm using the Haute42 G16. Honestly I was just looking for the cheapest option and it turned out to be a really good buy. But it's relatively small compared to other leverless controllers. If you're looking for more Quality of Life upgrades, you might want to consider a slightly more expensive model from Haute, like the T16 orso
I have been playing Bryan for several years. against an experienced player, when you "taunt dash", followed by F3, the opponent will not tap. because it is known, déjà vu if you prefer. even if it is possible, it will require you to condition the opponent beforehand. Taunt F3 is simpler to make and safer, but harder to enter. with the wave dash, it's less known, you take more risks, but you make the opponent want to hit. you can do "whiff" and punish, or attack with the.wave dash followed by QCF 1+2 or other moves. sorry for my english, i'm french 😅
Thanks man ❤ I can't give you an honest answer here, cause I've never owned one = never could try it out. But other comments have been saying that it's insanely hard on stick.
@@LawFury thanks bruv. yea is it possible on stick but on the right side was easy on the left it's hard. and kinda ruined the fighting style or defense using it on stick. thanks again brada.
Hey man ur my hero and ur the one who inspired me to buy leverless , but im on ps5 and idk what adapter well be useful cause i bought 2 and didn’t work with the 8 minutes problem , any ideas?
Yo my man, thank you for those kind words! I'm glad to be able to inspire some of you guys ❤ Sadly, I really don't know much about how to set up Haute42's on the PS5... I've read that the Brook Wingman FGC and Magicboots adapter seem to be the best options. You probably already did this, but maybe watch some TH-cam guides or guides on the internet. Good luck!
I’m only able to do 2 consecutive snake dashes like that. It’s ridiculously hard to get it smoothly on stick. 2p side is a little easier but still the same difficulty. You have to cancel the side step fast so that it looks smooth. That’s what makes it hard. Your wrist is gonna hate you and you may develop carpal tunnel lol.
I'm not sure to be honest my man, because I can't test it myself. I could imagine it beeing very umconfortable for your Hands though, like @NugKaLj says...
@@nouri7327 yeah unfortunately. That’s why when those hitboxes(lever less controllers) first came out they were considered cheating because some of the stuff you can do on them wasn’t humanly possible to do on stick or pad. As I mentioned earlier though, I’m only able to do this consecutively and smoothly on stick 2x maybe 3 if I’m lucky. Otherwise I get the sidestep input and he does the weave instead. I’m sure with more practice it can be done but it’s up to you if it’s worth the effort.

But I'm back now!
Welcome back my fav bryan after mine 🤣🤍.
Truly Ur a Godlike w BRYAN.
Really good tutorial man, I'm used to do taunt dash but Imma try try to do this now.
Thanks man, I appreciate it! It's definitely a very cool technique to add to your arsenal.
Goodluck practicing!
this dude inspires me and helped me a lot, so i became a Bryan main from king main in t7. you're cool guy, sensei))
Thanks, appreciate it my man!
Finally you're back. I was really happy about the video! keep it up with the content! ❤❤🎉🎉
Thanks bro!! ❤
Amazing video, thank you
Youre the best bryan imo
Thanks man! I really appreciate it, but I still have a long way to go ❤
Thx bro! This helps me a lot
Ty for this tutorial
Glad you've enjoyed it!
Great tutorial man!
Do you think you can make a guide for how to connect taunt in open field?
Thanks man, appreciate it! I'll keep your request in mind and will try to do a video on that as well!

@@James-wd9ib Yeah man, that up movement button being located at the bottom on leverless felt so weird to me at first
amazing tutorial brother! If I may ask how did you get the leverless overlay?
Sick, gonna have to change my keyboard movement keys to be closer to the hit box to pull this off.

Any chance you can also do a tutorial for TJU on the leverless?

Fantastic tutorial. Can't wait to not be able to do it!! 😅😅
You've got this my man! And if it doesn't work out, taunt dashing is a very good alternative to this 💪
Sometimes when i cancel the animation i sidestep instead why does this happen
Do you backdash using the socd shortcut? If not then why?
Yeah, I use SOCD. The input overlay just shows what the leverless controller actually accepts.
@LawFury do you use your right index finger for it aswell or just one hand?

I taunt dash, 70% of the times it gets me a f3 CH
What is CH? 😊

It's literally the same as any other guide. There's only one way to tju.
is it also possible with a fight stick?
